Beautiful, clever and familiar!
Ani Lorak, the new face of Turkey in Ukraine
Ani Lorak started to be called “yenge (sister in law)” by Turkish media. This is due to her husband is Murat Nalçacıoğlu, a Turkish man who lives in Kiev with her. Ani Lorak explained that she was so happy to be called yenge in Turkey. To her, it proves her popularity with the Turkish people.
Thanks to this, Ani Lorak was the special guest star of International Çeşme Music Festival. And now, she is going to Turkey to appear in an advertisement of Ufo trademark heaters. The shooting of the ad will be in Turkey and it will be shown on Ukrainian television channels as well. Her husband will also accompany her in this new role.

Ani should had won!
It weird that none of you mentioned Macedonia as favourite on JESC
The song isn't one of my favourites although the boy has a great voice. I just don't think that song is very 'JESC', if you know what I mean.
It weird that none of you mentioned Macedonia as favourite on JESC. Hmmm...
I really think they are gonna do very well. Song is just too good for JESC and stage performance seems briliant.
Garry,
Off course, that was the fun place to be. There were those 3 trannies, really absoluty gourgous "girls".... I should quit really but he... Had some good fun. It was a kind of shame hole but at least we had fun. And that Maria from Norway was there quite often aswell in her orange little satin dress. Sometimes I wish I was straight.... Bugger
marc i take it youy were in the smoking area at the scala, nearly all the perfomers were down stairs dragging on a ciggie lol
Thanks Marlens, I should come to Oslo for a nice weekend. Never been...
ive watched her live at the Cesme International Music Festival.shes awesome n beyond eurovision.
n her fiance!Murat is so hot
marc x Right now Maria is going to play the role of Rizzo in the musical "Grease", in Oslo Spektrum.
Yes, Stockholm..this is one of my real kittens
So far Romania is my favourite JESC entry too. And last year's Belgian entry "anders" is really really good
New cat, Mina
Speaking of JESC my favourites so far are Cyprus, Romania and Belarus.
Euro Sheep
lmao don't forget sheep power!
Anyway, I decided to just listen to the JESC songs today, and I would say that Romania is probably my favourite
I can't wait to find out what Belgium pick though cos if its anything like last year, i'll be very happy!
(btw, "anders" from jesc beligum last year, is my 3rd most played song)
Jonny
OMG, I
your new profile picture - gerbil power!!!
and I really want Romania to win JESC - their song is so sweet and they look like little singing cupcakes on stage and Madalina is such an amazing live singer!!!
mmmmmmmmmmama mia what a Lady... She was 100% the best with Her stage performance in Arena live ... (was there)... Ani come on to Serbia!!!
Btw I know this isn't really related but . . .
I did a prediction of the winner of JESC (out of the songs chosen so far
), it was done really quickly, but it is basically each song got points out of 5 for song, points out of 3 for diaspora benefit, and points out of 3 for jury likeability . . . the top 5 was
1: Serbia
2: Romania
3: Russia
4: Belarus
5: Ukraine
She is so hoooooooooooooooooot...and also great singer....
I think she is lucky...Murat is such a hottie!!!!
What a dynamic women, flexible and versatile as well
She reversed her name of Karolina to aniloraK and then added space between ani&lorac to create Ani Lorak, strange name as an image. I prefer Karolina though. Now she is yenge of turks she can change it further by mixing all the words to rakolina and extra K & a to make it Ka + rakolina = Karakolina
Oh yes little Maria is a treasure.... I have a feeling we will hear a lot from her in the future. Norwegian friends, how is she doing right now ? Any new work out ?
@ Marc, Ben and Company
I met Ani in Belgrade, she was staying in my hotel and I got home from the after show party and waited for her to arrive! She was so so nice, and very beautiful. Saying that though, I met Maria too, and she is one of the most down to earth people I have ever met - she was busy being ambushed by the press but still had time to pose for a photo with little old me, and she gave me a kiss on the cheek!!
Great isn't it ?
Marc x, the way you described Maria made me realize that she has no ties to the "healthy living" concerns that plague our lives, or at least mine... hilarious, great description!
From Eurovision stage to selling heating equipment in Turkey... will the glamour never end for Ani?
