Jonny K it's okay. ;) I understand u. Sorry for my overreacting.

Eurovision actually IS political festival. I would love 2 say it's not...it shouldn't be but it is. 2 me it's all about music and my favorite ESC countries are actually western countries like Sweden...

Johnny,

My friend, do not lose your energy to someone like that. If he can not understand that Eurovision and Politics are seperate, it's his problem. But you see, these people think like this and vote like this.... Mina, stil no political voting ???

Nikola
"Some posters here are enjoying in "feeling superior" just because they live in UK"

And if you directed that at me Nikola I am very offended. I do not feel surperior to anybody here, and frankly you're seriously stereotyping British people as "feeling superior" to everybody else.
Firstly I wish you would read my comments properly and see I was not insulting Serbian TV. In fact I praised it.
Secondly, I am also really offended that you said "i am sure you will enjoy this video" - Ofcourse I wouldn't enjoy it, in fact I turned off at about 10 seconds because I could see the mood of the video and I don't want to watch anything like that voluntarily.

I dont get offended easily but I am very very annooyed at the moment. :( :@

Nikola
Hey I don't appreciate you sending me a video of the NATO bombing because I never said a bad word about Serbian TV. To quote myself:
"Well, if ESC is anything to go by, Serbian TV is excellent!"
Does that sound disrespectful to you?
And as Vincent said, this isn't a political site. I think its a great shame what happened in the early 90's in Serbia, but frankly this isn't the place for it.

End of.

Maybe it is hosted in the Netherlands but I searched for it in google and had the "only pages from the UK" box ticked by accident and esctoday still appeard :) Although yes it is Dutch site ;)

OMG OMG OMG ESCtoday is hosted in Netherlands. I never knew that, but I suspected that it might be JUST in Netherlands ... Don't know why, but I never thought it's British site, and was bit surprised when Marc mention that.

Never the less i feel ashamed for not knowing it looool :P ;) :D since i come here for 2 or 3 years and simply (L) ESCTODAY (L)

Whatever WS, you understand what I mean no ? I am fed up with the attacks from Eastern Europe....

Actually Marc, this is a Dutch site. If you do a whois, you can see it belongs still to Sietse Bakker, and ESCtoday is still hosted in the Netherlands.

Nokola,

Please shut up, I am bored with your ever returning same story. UK did nothing to harm you and why do you always come on this English site.... if it's all that bad. Go and cry with your Russian friends on their sites. This is a Eurovision site NO political site.

Nikola,
It hink you do not really get my point: we are here, on a eurovision somg contest site to talk about it, about artists, music, showa, e.t.c. I am not and i will not discuss in here, if you are right or not. the matter you want to talk about is for my opinion far too serious and too political for this context..and this is what annoies me a lot, i must say. I mean look at the picture of the article, the topic and watch the clip you have posted. There are worlds in between. and while I find myself in here and while being a part of it, i would rather stay on the ESC world..i hope you got my point now

@Vincent

I didn't start that. Some posters here are enjoying in "feeling superior" just because they live in UK . I'm not glad that US and EU economy is going bad cause I wish 2 everyone in the world the best (even 2 Albanians from southern Serbian province Kosovo). But NOTHING last forever. It seams that time of the west is passing and eastern forces are becoming the rulers of the world (Russia, China etc.) But I won't make jokes about BBC when money gone... And RTS is looking like that because of bombing, partly because of UK. Before that it was huge and rich TV. But most important...many young lives were taken in bombing. Innocent lives...

That's the way some western countries are finding a solution for the problem. Very civilised way...

@Nikola:

such hard politics staff is according to my opinion out of place here. With such cruelty and so much reality you spoil the pleasure i get from the ESC: a light music contest with some flags hanging on the heads of the artists and on many fans. I think, this is not the right place to talk about wars and politic, this belongs definetely to another forum.

yes she laughed at the confusion in the serbian television studio. and the mock-up with the microphone and the music starting before she had gotten the mic..

and she also said "be glad people at home that its not "smell television" because inside the studio it is an awful smell...

all the delegation was laughing so mutch :).. itwas kind of funny!

Jonny.. yes it seems serbian television isnt up to nordic standard...well..

@Nikola Jovic

Don't take it so seriously. I know how do you feel about that in 1999., but noone was saying here something totally against RTS. We just remembered on some "face" of Charlotte. That's all.

Can u tell me what was so funny about Serbian TV? I guess it's that that we in Serbia don't use microphone for playback performances.

I hope that they weren't laughing to to technical abilities of Serbian TV cause RTS was bombing in 1999. by NATO w/out any reason and many innocent employers were killed then... RTS was 1st and (before bombing) superior TV in this part of Europe.

Has somebody got link for the JESC song of Belgium? I don't know the title, or name of the performer, so I want to hear it, cause all of you are saying its good. :)

Anyway, Macedonia is my favourite this year in JESC. They could win easily (if not Georgia, then Macedonia). ;)

Andy was on Serbian TV aswell, it also seemed kinda awkward, we got shown the clip during the intervals or the semis :D It didn't do any help though cos Serbia still gave us nul points lol! ;)

I can't hear a strong melody in "Familierock" either. I guess that's the difference between it and The Ark's song :) I like "Samen" but then again I like most of the Belgian entries.

I think Azerbaijan will surprise us by sending a song which is just as great as their ESC entry :D

Jonny K. [46850]

Stockholm
I do like the song, but the problem is I can't really hear a really strong melody in it, but yes it does remind me of the Arks "girl you're gonna get em" ;) On the subject of the Belgian selection, did you like "samen" by didier and charlotte? :)

Euro Sheep
Well Azerbaijan are screwed then :S They might do what Cyprus did in 2005 and vote but not take part, it seems they are real perfectionists, which is hard to believe when they send "day after day" (sorry stockholm! ;))

ws
Aaah I didn't know it was only delegations in the aud!ience :) And thanks for the info about the intro, I didn't know it was so widely used. It will be interesting to see whether there is any hype over it or not :S
