Now that your'e gone
Listen to Shiri Maimon's song at MTV awards
The song was originally written in Hebrew and named "Helek Mimha" (A part of you), and planned to be included in Shiri's next album. For the occasion of performing in the 2008 MTV Europe's Music Awards ceremony, an English version was now written, named "Now that your'e gone".
Israeli website Ynet.co.il presented today these two versions, for listening online. Click here (link) to listen on Ynet.co.il. The first player on the page will play the English version and the second one will play the Hebrew version.
Shiri Maimon reached the 4th place for Israel in the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv.

I voted for Israel in 2005 and after listening to the songs Shiri has made since that I'm more proud of it. Btw, we can't compare Greece with Israel or Malta in 2005... it would be the same as Ukraine and Serbia & Montenegro in 2004; just differents.

Now i realize Shiri has been my favorite artist ever.....!
I just hope to see Shiri once again live ....! If she comes once mo in the states to sing for the hebrew community as she had done before , i'm sure flyin there!!!! But why not makin a consert in Salonica?!!!!

The 05 israeli song is one of the most overrated songs ever.
Helena is Helena, Shiri is Shiri.... ok. But for me too, I would have enjoyed Israel's victory 100000000 times more than that crappy "My number one",... most irritating winning song next to "I wanna", "Everybody"....

Amazing! I love Shiri! I voted for her so much on the EMA website, she's so under rated. She has a beautiful voice and she is stunning. I love every song by her!
Why she only came 4th is still a huge mystery for me especially knowing that the winner that year was once again a kitschy cheap song..... grrrrr Shiri please try again with another of your beautiful songs.
