FYR Macedonia: MRT in search of a new selection method
The first discussion round already went on air last Saturday and the purpose of those debates is to gain new opinions and suggestions in order to provide a fair and successful method to select the next Eurovision Song Contest participant of FYR Macedonia. The panels will comprise respected journalists, composers, producers, singers, former Eurovision Song Contest participants, as well as representatives of OGAE Macedonia. Some of the guests of the open programme are Jovan Jovanov (composer of FYR Macedonia 2004 and popular singer himself), Grigor Koprov (composer of Montenegro 2008, FYR Macedonia 2007 and 1998), Kire Kostov, Ognen Nedelkovski (lyricist of Montenegro 2008 and FYR Macedonia 2007) and Vladimir Dojcinovski.

Hope Macedonia to choose a bad song, and don't pass to the final. Benefit by his situation in the map, Macedonia has always passed, except in 2007... Hope to see other countries in the final, not only eastern.

I think FYR Macedonia's 2008 entry was a masterpiece on record and nothing short of a vocal disaster on-stage.
This year our parcipients were just borring!
I hope that next year (2009) will be abble to make the right chose

@togravus ceterum haha well everyone has different taste..you know i was very angry when they chose Sweden but to be real actually Sweden had stronger performance than ours...But i hope that this year we will try better and make our performance great..I hope 
and @Mert yehh Elena had the best performance for Macedonia ever..but Toshe was the best singer...

I liked "Let me love you" and if it hadn't been for the jury it would have qualified. Sorry.
Yes, the Macedonian song had grown so much for me too. Unfortunately the liveperformance was very weak. I think Macedonia, especially in 2005 and 2006, didn't deserve to qualify. But this year I would rather have seen them in the final then that awful Swedish song.
Funny thing: One of the reasons why I was in favour of having juries back was that I thought it scandolous that the weak Macedonian entries 2005-2007 made it to the finals. This year, the Macedonian entry was in my top 3 and came tenth in the second semi. What did the bloody juries do? Kick it out and award this horror from Sweden a place in the final ... I am definitely confused now ...
I hope that this year we will be more successful than the previous one And @Arabic Scents-thank u pall i realised that u have nothing against Toshe-You are against everything which is macedonian haha i feel sorry for u because the politics has such a bad influence on you..i saw a comment from a guy from Cyprus who was completely ok and now i see you like:"I hope they will be out from the final this year too"

they send really good songs, but the problem is that their singers are bad live
FYR Macedonia have sent some decent entries, my personal fave being Elena Risteska Karolina was also amazing in 2007, much better than 2002 and 2008 was a good song, just a shame the live performance wasn't amazing

I hoped it would qualify , but hardly anyone else did!!!!
I'd so like to see Elena Risteska in Moscow but as she refused, Elvir Mekic would be ok choice. ;

THIS YEARS SONG WAS A VERY DIFFICULT SONG TO SING ,AS IT HAD A COMBINATION OF HIP AND MELODY, AS A SONG IN GENERAL IT CAME ACROSS WELL, THE PERFORMANCE FROM THE ARTISTS ,GOT BETTER AS THE REHERSAL WENT ON .IN MY OPINION IT SHOULD HAVE QUALIFIED FOR THE FINAL ,AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE TOP 5.BUT THATS MY OPINION
My family is from Macedonia, so I would love to see them do well in the contest, but only when they have a decent song. I did not like this year's entry, and they seem to be getting worse each year as they try too hard to be 'cool'. I can only hope that another selection procedure will improve things.
I was extremely pleased to see them out of the final this year. I hope so the same next year.
simple... ask Kaliopi to compose a song along with Zeljko and Karolina to sing it =P
