Sweden: Carola ready for Christmas tour
The media circus around Carola ended after Melodifestivalen this year, when Andreas Johnsons and her song One love didn’t make it to the final. Carola have had a low profile since her celebration as an artist for 25 years and the participation in Melodifestivalen. Now Carola is coming back with focus on her Christmas tour.
With her on tour she have the conductor Pelle Ankarberg and the gospel choir By Grace. Guest on the show is Issa Murad from Bethlehem. He will play a traditional arab instrument just as he did for the recording of the album Jul i Betlehem II.
The music in the show will be songs from Carolas own Himlen I min famn to traditional songs like the Drummer boy.
According to the Swedish press, there are plans for a Carola show in 2009.
- The show is going to show that show all sides of Carola. Pop, schlager and her spirit side. So it will be a journey through her career. It will be something like Lena Philipsson and Orup did. In talks are Rondo Göteborg and Cirkus in Stockholm say a source to tabloid Expressen.
There are also rumors that Carola will be the host for Melodifestivalen 2009. Other names that came up in the press are Ola Salo from The Ark, Charlotte Perrelli, Lena Philipsson and Björn Skifs. However SVT has yet to confirm. The only thing that is official is that Kristian Luuk will not host Melodifestivalen 2009.

She doesn't have a new Christmas album, she's just doing some Christmas concerts which are very popular...
I went to hers two years ago in Stockholm, it was very lovely!
Sorry Carola, but again a Christmas Album. Thing are getting boring with you, is this your comeback? After that you were beaten by Nordman, I thought now she is gone. But no, you still sing the same thing.
And Christmans Albums are not only for you, Charlotte made one and you were angry on her. So please go to Bethlehem and leave us alone xP

I never used the word "hate" nor talking about Carola in particular..
But i do think it is an easy cash-in for several Scandinavian artist, when they perform up to 70 -80 concerts in churches and earning LOADS of money.
she is just so fake ...
shes ALWAYS ready for xmas... last year there was a huuuggeee cardboard cut out of her in rocks in gothenburg... sadly i wasnt alllowed it... they dont celebrate bonfire night there..shame 
Oh god, Carola and Christmas, cant someone lock the door to her grave so she doesn't appear this year??? I get fed up with her fake smile and pretend sympathy.

Woman didn't do anything bad to you, and again and again there are haters who are posting silly reactions.
I would love to see Ola Salo presenting MF but he will be occupied with "Jesus Christ Superstar"

Why do I feel that Carola is still interested to perform on esc stage again!.... Even though she knows that people are bored of her. But if she can manage to win again in respond to all the critical success factors there are, then it would be real big victory for her.
cant wait to see who the host is for MF 2009!
Nowhere near me so I can't go. 
I'd love to go to a Christmas show. 
Problem, of course, is that with Carola it may be a tad too religious for my liking... but she's a great singer and performer.
And so are every artist who´s ever released a record in Sweden or Norway....BIG DEAl...
For those of you who read this article, in the rest of the world, should know that allmost EVERY fu..... recordinng-artist in Scandinavia are turning in to a full time Christian in the mid-November.
And it lasts until ´round midnight on Christmas eve..
It´s like a church-marathon. They manage to perrform up to
3 concerts a day.
And all of them are claiming that "we are NOT doingfor the money.
Well let me just add
