Low ticket sales for latest concert
UK: Andy Abraham starts UK tour
Unfortunately ticket sales for his latest concert were disappointingly low with less than 200 people turning up to see him at the Worthing Assembly Hall. The venue has a capacity of 900. Andy Abraham’s agent Barry Collings said the low turnout to the show was a reflection of the country’s current financial situation. He said: “The show went down very well with the audience members that were there. “The small attendance is entirely due to the current credit crunch and everyone is seeing attendances hit across the country for all types of shows.”
A spokeswoman for Worthing Theatres said: “Andy Abraham’s concert was very much enjoyed by his loyal fan base and he proved what a personable entertainer he is by happily signing autographs and meeting and greeting them before the concert.”
The tour will continue over the next 8 months and will include theatre appearances in over 50 UK towns, including Portsmouth, Milton Keynes, Swansea, Newcastle, Bournemouth and Ipswich.

I cannot stand the X Factor, but Andy is a great singer and I have always liked him. The first week he was by far the best and i have long wanted him to enter eurovision

I know it will be hard for Belgium to win, and I reckon if it was done on televoting alone then they wouldn't win 
But this year there will be 50/50 televoting/jury in JESC, so there is a possibility that Belgium really could do well Plus the song is AMAZZZING!! (its my most played song ever! 
) Btw the songs of Netherlands and Serbia are good also

"Belgium to win the JESC"... what have you been taking? Are you feeling well? Belgium to win a music-contest with only the Netherlands present besides tem to get any points from. That'll be the day! 
But you got me curious about it... lol... so I'll watch the damn thing next Saturday (won't be voting though, certainly can't be voting for Belgium since that's the country where I'm in for the moment). I haven't heard any of the songs, but my guess is that both Belgium and Netherlands will be closing the ranks rather than leading them.
Another example of how the Eurovision ticket is a sure-fire way to commit professional hara-kiri. Andy Abraham, the bin man who won the X-Factor, rose to popularity, then represented the UK in the Eurovision, and sure enough soon it was back to the bins for little Andy. According to Eurovision tradition, I predict a bottom 5 result for sir Andrew Lloyd Webber too. How ironic if Andy and Andrew become workmates one day, collecting rubbish on the streets of London. And all because of a song contest "whose voting is not biased". Was it worth it, Andy?

Can't blame the credit crunch
im sorry to say , 200 tickets is embarrassingly low. its nothing to do with the credit crunch, others artistes are selling out concerts. the plain fact of the matter is that although andy id a very good singer, hes just not charismatic enough to be a big star, sorry , but its true. his image wasnt helped by the fact the he had a truly appauling esc entry, which isnt his fault of course
Andy was on X Factor on Saturday. Was nice to see him make an appearance there. He said he really likes Diana too. Yay!
at least he is working which is a blessing in this day and age, good luck to him, noone can deny he has a great voice, the song wasnt the best but he did one of the best live vocals on the night

Aww you lot are so mean! Hes doing way better than most modern UK esc entrants have done . . . I mean when was the last time we got any news about Javine, Scooch or Daz Sampson? Apart from Andy the only one I can think of is James Fox who still has a small career
OK he may not have got us a good result in Belgrade but he DEFINITELY was NOT an embarassment and regardless of position, gave a great performance and was our best entrant since Jessica I reckon

Wooo Portsmouth is kinda near me, although somehow I doubt i'll be going lol! Hes a great artist and seems like a genuinely nice guy, just not my fave style of music

Big artist always sell.... Tina Turner sold out 3 times the O2 Arena in about 1 hour.... Poor Andy's career was already in a downfall even before it began. And the poor result in Belgrade did not do him any favours. Just partcipating at Eurovision does an artist not any favours anymore... if it ever did (exceptions Abba, Celine, Cliff,...). Or in other words like the Sun wrote today about contestant Ruth in X-factor " Sorry to say it, with Ruth having great boobs and a decent voice, but she would be far better off on the Eurovision Song Contest",....
ill be first in line for tickets!ah NOT! 'financial crisis' doesnt stop many bands and shows (eg. Melodifestivalen) selling out in minutes! Just dont ask Terry Wogan he might think it is racism!
