Act number nine!
Melodifestivalen: 1st wildcard announced tomorrow
This year, SVT have shaken up their method of revealing the Melodifestivalen artists. The first acts were revealed earlier today. In the past, the 28 acts performing the jury selected songs have been announced before the four wildcard entries.
This year, things are changing. The first of the four wildcard entries will be revealed tomorrow morning live on Swedish television at 08.15 local time. Måns Zelmerlöw and Jennifer Brown, who were confirmed as competitors earlier today will join Christer Björkman to discuss their entries and why they are joining the race to represent Sweden at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow.

In addition to the news, UKeurovision Schlager Party today confirmed that they will provide a tribute section at the next party in London on Friday 28th November. They will be playing songs by each of the confirmed artists. I like Markoolio's "Ingen Sommar Utan Reggae"...
Will we see Christer again next year?
Great. I love Markoolio.
With a ballad? Interesting... wonder if it'll be serious or a parody.
I´m suprised Markoolio is doing a ballad. This should be interesting.
First joker act = Markoolio.
It's his first participation in Melodifestivalen; however, he co-presented one of the semi-finals in 2005.
The title of his song hasn't been announced yet, but he said in a tv interview a few minutes ago that it's a ballad.
Markoolio is the wildcard
I've bet money on EMD being a wildcard. xD
So please...
Just chose September and a good songwriter and get over with it.
Oh wait... September would never win when the public will cast their vote. She's too good looking, too up-to-date, too little schlager and too unknown.
Why am I even hoping for a miracle!?
Peter Jöback or Brolle Jr
Ace of Base...but I don't think it could be real.
@ Max
Um no. It´s a regular morning show in Sweden. It´s just going to be one of the topics of the day inbetween newbroadcasts.
So will they reveal every entry in a special Television-show?
Dear God, one can overdo it...
September, I hope...
Sibel please
woooooooow. please give Nanne Grönvall a wilcard or E.M.D.
they are super! or give one to Kate Ryan ( joke
)
