- The last chance (Siste sjansen) round: Ålesund, 14 February 2009

The most interesting possible candidate seems to be the possible return of Hanne Krogh. Back in 2007, Hanne said in an interview with esctoday.com that she would consider entering in 2009. A previous winner of the Eurovision Song Contest, she would be bidding to become the first artist in the history of the competition to compete in four consecutive decades.
You can watch her previous entries below. Her previous entries were in 1971 (Lykken er), 1985 (La det swinge as Bobbysocks with Elisabeth Andreasson) and 1991 (Mrs Thompson as part of the group Just 4 fun).
1971 Lykken er
1985 La det swinge
1991 Mrs Thompson

I was a great fan of her when I was a little kid. looking forward to see her on the stage again :-)
IMO she was great in 1971 ... didn't like so much in 1985 and didn't like at all in 1991. In my job, when I meet norwegian people, i say that I didn't like so much La det swinge, and I like Jahn Teigen's Mil etter mil, they start to laugh. Norway was so under-rated before 1985, after that not at all ... except 1990,1992,1997, 2000,2001 and 2006.
I absolutely love Hanne Krogh. She has the most perfect pitch I've ever heard, her voice is so beautiful, and she always knows how to pick beautiful songs. I wish she would start making adult music again and not just for holidays and children. Somehow I don't think she would win MGP, seeing as we've been quite unforgiving with previous ESC entrants like Elisabeth Andreassen (1997, 2003), Jahn Teigen (1988, 1989, 1990, 1993, 1994, 1996, 2005) and Tor Endresen (1999, 2005, 2006). But she's definitely showing off her skills and her great new figure on TV these days, having participated in the Norwegian version of "Strictly Come Dancing" (which, incidentally, was won by Lene Alexandra), so I guess MGP would serve a purpose for Hanne even if she doesn't win. Hanne is back - you better believe it! I just hope there's a new CD at the end of all this.
I love Hanne Krogh!! Please enter Hanne!!!
I hope Ann-Mari Andersen and/or Torstien Sodal will try again withing the next few years. MGP 2008 had lots of great songs.
