Sestre not invited to Ema 2003
Slovenian half-tabloid magazine STOP announced that Sestre, Slovenian 2002 Eurovision Song Contest entry, were not invited to EMA 2003.
The tradition of winner of the previous year performing on EMA is thus broken. The magazine's disclosed source at RTVSLO claims that Sestre were not invited because of their close professional relationship with RTVSLO's biggest rival, the commercial station POPtv.
The trio's December concert was recorded by POPtv and then broadcasted on New Year's Eve, stealing precious viewers away from the national broadcaster.
