Greece: Anna Vissi returns with new album
Apagorevmeno is Anna Vissi's new album released in Greece on 9 December by Sony BMG. The album contains 13 songs plus two bonus tracks. The first single from the album, bearing the same title, was composed by Patrick Leonard and Kara Dioguardi. Kara has written and co-written over 500 songs in her career so far, among them some world wide hits such as Spinning around for Kylie Minogue, and songs for Celine Dion, Gwen Stefani, Santana and others. Patrick is known for his extensive collaboration with Madonna (Like a prayer, L' isla bonita, Live to tell, Cherish, Frozen etc), Bon Jovi, Lara Fabian, Pink Floyd and Elton John among others.
Stin Pyra, is composed by Alex Papaconstantinou and penned by Marcus Englof who also wrote Yassou Maria, the 2007 Greek Eurovision Song Contest entry for Sarbel. An s'erotefto was co-written by Christina Aguilera and Kontra was composed by Dan Wilson (Breathless).

Anna Vissi has taken part in the Eurovision Song Contest three times in total, two for Greece in 1980 and 2006 and once for her native country, Cyprus, in 1982.

wow im glad to hear this! i adore the wonderful ms VISSI! i really was not a fan of her eurovision song, but eisai is oner of my fave songs and this woman is a living legend!
