because eurovision is political.so turkey is not successful at politics.we only make super songs.

Wowww...great song from Turkey..i mean it has potential...combined with a spectacular show on stage..it might just win this year...Anyway i give them at least a Top 5 ...i am very anxious about Greece this year...they just made such an impact over the past years...they can do it again ..As far as for my country Romania..i cannot wait to see the selected songs.. i alrealy heared a fewpublished on the net and i am telling you they are great....if you wanna find out more check into the national broadcaster website on the 8 Jan 2008. I VOTE ROMANIA...so far they have some of the best songs...and they were robbed TWICE with tornero and VLAD and NIK last year...I dont care what people say they have the most up to date songs..ESC voters stop voting for the same stupid type, weird,TRADITIONAL songs all the time.....GREECE vote for ROMANIA this year..IM GREEK and will vote for them!!!!!LOVE the song FLY!!!!!

From an interview with Hadise's manager in a famous Turkish newspaper:
We didn't present the latest version of the song against to copy risk in new year show. The song that'll go to the contest will be grown and to be ready for the grand final. We prepared the careography only in 3 hours for achieving the public's expections. Everything will be changed till the contest. Neither careography nor Hadise's looking will be the same on stage. Everything is gonna change!

If you get 6 x 12 = 72, it's a lot. 6x10 = 60, still a lot. 6x8 = 48 still a lot. The fact that according to you Turkey had much better songs in the 90's than the other participants is just your opinion. If I say that all the Dutch entries in recent years should have qualified easily, that we should have won in 1998 and that we shouldn't have been last in 1962, doesn't mean that I am right. You cannot denie that Turkey has had a lot of help from diaspora. The proof would be if Morocco participated again and you would have to share the massive Dutch support. (Don't get me wrong I like immigrants, they spice up our stiff country) I do like Hadise her entry but saying that she is a winner with still about 40 entries to be chosen is not right.

I think she is a very high chance of winning, she is a very talented singer and her arabic pop is amazing.
Hadise reminds me of Sirusho and both are amazing singers.

IM GREEK and think that ROUMANIA has a great selection of songs for EUROVISION this year...THEY have been writing really good songs these last years..and have been robbed twice so far..if I were you I would go llisten to some of their songs....modern and up to date...not like lots of ESC junk we have been hearing lately!!!!!!

I think this song has very good potential, and if the song was to be entered in as it is right now it would get a top 10!!!
The most important parts have been address- she's a great singer, and can sing well, and also the lyrics are good
All that needs to be done now is for the stage performance and the dancing to be sorted (maybe get the english girls that dance in 2007 (for turkey) back- they were great)
Also the music needs to have a stronger beat, slightly more forceful- but I'm sure they'll do something with that anyway

(don't think it will be the winner- as I would like another "new" country to win, or Greece)
and maybe out of topic here but for the people who keep complaining about diaspora and neighbour votes..I also accept it is upsetting to see that people from certain countries vote for each other or some ethnic groups in certain countries affect the overall voting of that country but as someone who used to watch this competition when there were juries, I recall very well that the same would happen then as well, then also the Scandinavians would vote for each other, the mediteranneans, the Balkans likewise but then it was mostly a western European competition with not many eastern cojntries plus no televoting meant no ovearll public opinion would reflect to the votes but the general cultural, political appraoch of that specific country to another one..don't say then the juries solely acted on the musicality or the quality of a song. there's also the inevitable fact that people tend to vote for the music that sounds more familiar to theri ears and that happen with the music of your region. but should there be a sonf of good quality, good enough to appeal to everyone, sure it would get votes form all countries..
I've read a remark somewhere saying that nothing can be more democratic than the televoting, which is in fact true..
all the fuss about the televoting is because now the eastern bloc is numbrous and powerful enough to affect the direction to which the trophy goes each time..and the referance group countries can't come to terms with it..
