You can vote for your favourite online here and listen to other songs in each of the genres.
How do I vote?
As soon as you hear a song you like or love, go to the candidates profile on the RTVE site here. You will then be asked to enter your name (nombre), email address (correo electronico) and enter the anti spam code on the page. Then you will be sent a confirmation email to the email address you entered. When you open the email you will be asked to click on a confirmation link in order to register your vote. And thats it, you should have successfully voted for a potential Spanish representative!
How often can I vote?
You can vote upto a maximum of 20 times per day, with a maximum of 5 votes per song.
How does the competition work?
After polls have closed, the Top 5 candidates in each genre/category will be forwarded to the Spaniah televised finals.
When do polls close?
Voting closes on Monday 20th January 2009 @ 23:59 CET.

huh!? They are incredibly similar! When I listened to it the first time from the first two lines it was the first thing I noticed and I could roughly predict what tunes and rhythms were gonna come next because of it!
They even use similar voice effects are the beginning of the 2nd verse, and the opening lines are basically identical (apart from the fact one is in Spanish) 
The chorus's have vitually the same Meldoy, the only part of the song which is different is the bridges and the last chorus arrangement is slightly different in lujuria 
Nevertheless, I still think its a great song But I am partial to latino rhythms! 
(although it should really be in the pop/rock category )
and the worst case of plagiarism was probably the swedish entry of 2001, which was a clear plagiarism of belgium 1996. Also the Maltese entry 2006 compared to the swedish entry 2003.
and ALL songs in Eurovision is about love and the affection of the opposite sex... and MARIA is indeed the most used name when it comes to songs... so pulling these comparisons are ridicilous i think... Lujuria is NOT Yassou Maria.
well i still do not think that Lujuria is a plagiarism.... and it wont be disquialified for being it either - especially when the AWEFUL song Switzerland sent last year didnt get disqualified eventhough there were clear similarities between Paolos song and Amy Diamonds song... And what about Chiaras "Angel" from 2005? Many people claim it was a plagiarism as well... but nothing happened...
Lujuria is by far not as similar to Yassou Maria that it will be in the dangerzone of being disqualified. there might be similarities - but then again to me most latino songs in this style sounds similar.. even Ricky Martin had singles that sounded similar Living La Vida Loca and Copa De La Vida... so its the type of style of music i guess....

I found "Lujuria" by my own accord today whilst going through the top 5 latin songs, and straight away I noticed it was a plagiarism! And its like the writers couldn't have made it any more plagiarised if they tried, I even think the songs are in the same key, they even share a virtually identical start to the second verse, it really is quite unbelieveable how somebody can write such a song and expect to get away with it!!
But I still think the song is great, plagiarism or no plagiarism
play both of them and you'll see that they are really similar
guys, i dont find any big similarities... yassou maria was more oriental, this is latin...they are not the same... although their voices are very similar!!

ehm both "Yassou Maria" and "Lujuria" are really bad and cheap. I think no non-deaf person can like one and dislike the other.

I have to break sad news for you: a lot of people did notice and did comment about the similarities between Ricky Martin´s that yassou maria thing. Not only here. In many other websites as well. Have you ever tried the extinct soult.com? The comments are still there, as an example.

Not really. Do you follow any Spanish website? Let´s say eurovision-spain.com. A lot of people have noticed that Ortega is a plagiarist. I have complained to RTVE some time ago, as well as many others did. There´s really nothing new under the sky in here.
Lujuria is NOT similar to Yassou Maria - it is more similar to the style of music that Ricky Martin does - and noone compared yassou maria to Ricky Martins music as i can recall...
Lujuria is actually one of the BEST songs in the spanish preselection this year. Yassou Maria I didnt like AT ALL!!!!!!!! Sarbel was a horrible singr and a horrible stageperformer, and people who liked him and his song must be blind AND DEAF. Lujuria is catchy very typical spanish pop music which actually do become popular around the world today.
and Salva Ortego is mentioned soooooooooooo many times before in comments but NOW people suddenly decide to listen to it? you shouldnt be allowed to vote in Myspace selection if you havent heard all the songs i think... obvisiouly some of you have just heard a few songs and vote for those - so NO WONDER why Melody, Soroya and Mirela are doing so well. REMEMBER that a lot more songs will be in the tvshows - for all we know NONE of them will win the national selection when ALL songs are being performed live and people will realise that there are actually BETTER songs!!!!!!
I am shocked to see how biased people in here can turn out to be... listen to ALL the songs, and THEN you have the right to judge all songs on the same merits!!!!!!
I bet most of you socalled esc-fans dont listen to half the songs in the national selections - and still you act like you know the one and only truth about ESC!!! No Wonder why Swedish MF is so popular and they win EVERY award every year - because thats the only national selection people actually bother to watch all performances of. In other words - if you actually botherd to look around you might discover that the one national final which you seem to love is rather overrated most of the times!

Well, a lot of irregularities are going on, that´s for sure. And it´s not that RTVE is not aware of these facts. Normativa Vigente should have been disqualified a long time ago, and the same goes to that crap plagiarist Salva Ortega, as well as that drag queen who can´t sing and many more. Tainted game.
by reading these comments i now understand that my suspicions were correct - people who vote for Melody and Soroya probably havent heard the other songs... this is so unfair towards all other good and BETTER songs.
I have heard ALL 455 songs in this years myspace collection and there are SOOOOOOOOOOOO many good songs that are loosing out. And there are so many crappy songs that are getting in because of esctodays favorism towards a few entries and people being obvisiouly biased towards one entry, and not having heard any of the other songs...
Melodys song is AWEFUL compared to many other songs - i dont even have it in my top 50 of the best of the spanish songs...

some of these songs have almost got no votes, some are about to loose out in actually managing to get to the tv shows... it is a SHAME!!!!!!! and still people vote for the OBVIOUS winners... WHY? Why not vote for other good songs as well and make the whole tv show a show with many great songs and not only one or two?
and also THERE MUST BE SOME IRREGULATE VOTING going on - how is it possible that some songs suddenly get many thousands votes in just a few days after getting almost no votes during the month otherwise? for example - in the hip hop category RON suddenly got 4000 votes in 4 days even though he only had a handful of votes almost the entire month, and now in the pop rock category Sal150 (a pretty BORING song) suddenly got many thousands votes as well out of the blue? The same goes for Vilas MAta with his socalled R'n'b song... also, some songs just stopped getting votes after being kinda popular... what happened? Adriel was second in the r'b'section and suddenly NOONE voted for him anymore. And the same goes for Andermay in the electronica category... instead there are a bunch of crappy songs that are getting many votes... to me these following songs are CRAP and have NOTHING to do in the tv programs:
Oskee, Atalis, Solydo, Sal150, Normative Vigente, Vicente Casal, Bloodsuckers, Melody Y Los Vivancos, Ron, Patrix Y Los Raperos,Calipop, Jaime Rojo Contreras, Ángeles Vela, Gran Baobab and then pretty much all the songs in the flamenco category (didnt realise that flamenco was such an aweful musicstyle).

I listened to Isi's song, too. It's good indeed but I still prefer Soraya and Mirela.
Just listened to Isi's song and I liked a lot! Even more than Soraya, Melody and Mirela. I can't understand why they put in the "Others" category but anyway, I'm glad we'll get to hear in the spanish NF.
I think Isi in the Others (Otros) selection could be a possible outsider to challenge the front runners!!
All the leaders are well know, she isnt and being put in the others selection would make voters think its a novelty or random track like some of the others.
I think she has a chance and the song live could give her chance what do you guys think???
