MiOdio in "SanremoFestival.59" online contest
Beside the usual competition between "Big" (famous singers) and "Nuove proposte" (young, deburing artists), Bonolis thought of a third competition, something completely new for the Sanremo Festival: an online contest for young singers/groups.
Visiting the Sanremo official site here (in Italian) you will be able to watch all the videos and listen to all the songs chosen for this online contest. The voting (through telephone and sms) will be divided into several phases:
From January 18th to 25th: 1st phase - 50 songs proceed to the 2nd phase
From January 26th to February 1st : 2nd phase - 30 songs proceed to the 3rd phase
From February 2nd to 8th: 3rd phase - 10 songs proceed to the 4th phase
From February 9th to 19th: 4th phase
Among the participating artists we find MiOdio, the band which represented San Marino in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Evoluzione genetica. Their song can be found on page 5 of the list.

I loved Complice, unfortunately Europe doesn't seem to want to vote for the little-known countries. If Russia had the same song, I bet they would have done really well with it. Hope to see San Marino back in 2010.
By the way - people seem to be so ignorant and when I mention that I have visited San Marino, they say "oh I thought it was a song contest".
I feel so proud that Greece gave them points! They deserved more of course!

I won't be watching Sanremo, it's a pile of rubbish, the (so called) artists are worst ones ever. Especially Povia

Complice was a good song, however I didn't really start liking it until I saw their live performance, still, they deserved more
I like the new San Remo song, but " Complice " was a better song for me. I wish them good luck at San Remo. They were great last year !! We had a great time with them.

Underrated? Maybe. Boring? Definitely. People have to be awake to vote... These guys released a follow up song a while after "Complice" an MP3 for download off their website, it was a much better song I think (although, I lost the mp3

YAY great to see these guys still kickin! i thought they were fantastic and sadly terribly under appreciated!
