Montenegro: Interview with Andrea Demirovic
Can you tell us something about Andrea Demirovic? What have you been up to lately?
Music has been my life since I know for myself. At the moment I am finishing music academy. Besides that, I have concentrated my music career on an international leve, so I have been involved in cooperation with foreign authors and one very succesful record company. Also, you have heard on the Eurovision Song Contest.
I would like you to tell us how you decided to participate in this competition.
My producers from Limark and Vord Co. have been cooperating for quite some time with Mr José Juan Santana Rodriguez, Eurosong expert, who has been kind enough to offer my an opportunity to work with him in the past. And now, a great opportunity to be a part of Eurovision Song Contest by performing this wonderful song.
After an 11-year televoting period, the EBU decided to change the system to 50% jury voting anf 50% televoting. What do you think about this decision?
I don't have the answer to this question really. Like always in life there are certain rules, and as I always do, I respect them.
What is your opinion regarding the Big 4?
I'm full of respect for them because they always have very high quality compositions.
How would you rate the Eurovision Song Contest concerning the musical quality?
I personally thinkt this is the biggest European manifestation so far, and I am sure in the future as well. Accordingly, all the compositions were always and will be at the highest level.
What are your favourite songs in the Eurovision Song Contest history?
Céline Dion - Ne partez pas sans moi, Johnny Logan - Hold me now, Elena Paparizou - My number one, Marija Serifovic - Molitva
Do you think that this contest will contribute to your career?
Definitely! For me, this is starting with the great honour that will be a part of such a great manifestation.
How do you imagine yourself on stage?
I don't know yet.. I'm still a little bit in shock...
Do you have plans for a promo tour?
Yes, of course.
Do you plan to rearrange the song until May?
I am sure there will be some minor changes, but I have full confidence in the authors team, so I leave hat to their experience and expertise.
Have you got a message for the Eurovision fans?
Well... I hope they will like my song and that they will be satisfied with this year's Montenegrin representative.

i listen again but i dont like nothing special
an avarage song
this song has potential..
Yoah... 'ts OK, not a masterpiece but neither a disaster. I'm still waiting for the big song of this year's contest; definitely not among the four known so far.
If I had to give points:
1. Montenegro (5 pt)
2. Turkey (4 pt)
3. Albania (2 pt)
4. Belarus (0 pt)
I think the song is not dated... it's prehistorical
Run, coward, run. Get Jonny K to clean the air for you. What really matters is what you posted is here to stay. All you can do is lie, as usual.
my friends know very well what kind of a person I am.
Precisely, if Mina was a homophobe please tell me why she would come here? Some of her best friends in the chat are gay, now why would a homophobe become friends with gay people ?
Me Reina, and V n, i'm not attacking you, i'm just saying that Mina definitely isn't a homophobe
"I should have copied and pasted the 1st half of the comment, I pasted it all. I was in a hurry, I agreed they should give it a break (accusing some singer if I remember correctly) and didn't even care about the rest of the sentence."
b]Coward. Coward. Coward
@Night Elf: pls take a look at the article Iceland: third heat songs online from 21.01.09, and you´ll find Mina Carnation and Project 0`s comment about the evil-shit fagots there.
First there was "Taking part in your national final doesn't mean you follow a contest. "
Now, there is "And noone said the artists should be esc fans...actually I said it would be better if she said 'I don't have an opinion."
Both written by the same person. Surely this person´s got some double personality, because one is always contradicting the other.
Double personality also explain Kalomira being "sweet" and Andrea being "ass-licking".
Oh, yeah, by the way, maybe this is the right excuse (double personality) for calling people evil-shit fagots and trying to pretend that it never happened at all.
Yeah, that´s what cowards do.
Mina Carnation
I think if she said "I don't have opinion" reactions would be even worse here... because "I have no opinion" ppl would translate "I think their music is horrible but I don't want to say it so I might lose votes" LOL
... Am I right ???
But as I said before Andrea was always nice and sweet in her interviews, and if she is (like ppl here think) full of c**p, that is not because of Eurovision for sure... that is simply because she was always "full of c**p"
I
her
v n
I wouldn't know anything about that comments

But I know that Andrea was always nice and sweet girl ... Eurovision is new thing for her and she simply didn't change her attitude... I think ppl react like this because they don't know her from past, never read her interviews... But like u said she didn't said anything bad...
I wish her all the best
v n
LOL ... next thing will be "she is racist, she likes western countries and BIG 4 more than eastern" because she didn't mention them in interview (although they didn't ask her) LOL
Mina Carnation
It might be Kalomira syndrome

Remmamber Kalomira last year and her "I love" every artist, every country in esc and every song that was in Belgrade... that is kissing ass... Maybe it will work
LOL
But I am sure Andrea is not aware what did she said (although I don't know even why did they ask her, and what where they thinking she will say)... LOL
What is your opinion regarding the Big 4?
I'm full of respect for them because they always have very high quality compositions.
... hmmm...
The song is made by R. Artesero, I assume..? I think it's a lot worse song than La reina de la noche, which was my favourite in Spain 2007... and also, Andrea can't compite vocal skils with Mirela!
Now, let´s take this interview piece by piece.
a) She surely knows what Eurovision is since she was taking part in the Serbia & Montenegro final in 2005. I can only guess that the ones criticizing her for "not knowing" about ESC did not read the interview´s intro. Too bad for them.
b) She is not willing to criticize the big 4. As far as I know, it is not compulsory to be critic of any song/country/performer/voting system/whatever. I´m pretty sure that big 4 critics are always on the critical side without showing much willing to have their countries paying higher fees for the contest´s maintenance. Hypocrites.
If she were to point fingers at any big 4 past entries, then why not do the same to the very low quality songs from other countries as well? There´s an old saying that goes like "if your roof is made of glass, you should never throw stones at somebody´s else roof". But the usual hypocrites in here prefer to ignore it.
c) Andrea does not make clear promo tour plans. The woman has just been named Montenegro´s representative, how could she possibly know anything about future promo tour´s?? Some people really should read the whole text a little bit more carefully.
d) Good luck to Andrea Demirovic. Good luck to Montenegro.
Nice song. Good luck Montenegro
Sounds so amateur!
Awful song, awful singing... sorry Montenegro... you didn't learn anything from 2 previous failures...
Alex Koenig
Thank, I hope that Denmark will sent a great song this year. I liked Drama Queen, but I think our songs have been pretty weak the past years.
I wish Turkey really good lukcy, I love your song!
Thanks everyone, but I rather not listen to it again. :-)
Thanks Jonny :-)
