My favorites:

1. Shine
2. Angel of the night
3. No one loves me like you
4. Our night
5. Everybody can be a star
6. Three is the magic number

"Shine" and "Angel of the night" were good songs, I hope one of them win.

Thanks Netherlands for a great show! It was fun to watch and the webcast was good!

I thought they looked really cheesy, like taken out of Las Vegas or something, with those shiny outfits, lol. They are actually very good at singing and the songs aren't that bad. I am looking forward to hear "shine" now.

Yeah Serkan, 30 years ago. He was the composer of Xandra's "Colorado" in Jerusalem 1979. Nuff said.

I look forward to the final tonight. From the snippets we could hear in the "Life and Cooking" show I think "Shine" sounded promising :D
Good luck !

i think the song will sound very different in moscow. its not a masterpiece but its not terrible either, just like last years winner.
at least we know we have a good singer . we always knew it was going to be a theatrical sounding song its ALW . those who are surprised its not a modern pop song must be deluded.
there are a lot of comments on here bashing the uk just for the sake of it, at least we ve made an effort this year.

Good luck to our dearest neighbours :D Though I'm not a big fan of the Toppers, and we're not in the same semi this year.

Hihihi, the true Eurovision spirit. Good luck to Belgium!

Good luck Netherlands... and hummm... make a wise desicion tonight guys... no jokes (people don't like it very much :P ), no dreary ballads (that's our kind of thing... :? )

I'm not a fan of the Toppers, but in spite of that I am really looking forward to hear the six songs tonight and wish them lots of success.
Please don't disappoint me !
To Gordon: at last you'll be at eurovision ! A dream-come-true for you. I wish you all the best !
To René: you and your family charmed us all with your reallifedocusoap "No dime to spend". Your charitywork will not be unnoticed in Holland.
To Jeroen: Thanks for standing in for Gerard. You didn't have to do that, because you are popular enough yourself.

We know you 3 all can sing very well. I hope the Voices will harmonize tonight.

I think I would give more of a damn about this selection if NOS had been kind enough to let us listen to the songs beforehand. As it stands, I'm watching Slovenia tonight and then tuning in to see the results of this one afterwards.

I like the Toppers - I hope they choose something fabulous and not tacky (there is a difference believe it or not ;)) and I wish the Netherlands good luck! :)

The Netherlands are in the same semi as Greece so I'm very interested in this selection.
My favourite song is in the other semi so I have to decide who I will vote for.
Good luck to the Toppers and let's not judge based on appearances, let's wait for the songs :D

I think I'm the only person who has high hopes for De Toppers. I don't know why but I like them!

Oh damn. I'll translate some things they said in one of the thousands interviews they gave.

(I am bad in translating) Gordon (40), will be in Moscow with gray hair. Because: I will say that I just have been to Tsjernobyl. "It's good for my radio-active appereance."

"Stand out is an absolute must with ESC." That's why the Eurovision-delegation will drag self-designed Delftsblue glitter costumes, silver army-and navy costumes((Verka?)) and a load of other glamour costumes to Moscow. "I think the most beautiful thing is a hand made Armani costume with 130.000 Swarovski-stones. That's very expensive and we invest a lot of money in it." That was necessary because accordig to insiders the available budget of the NOS is dramatically low, "I can purchase one left shoe and a hair cut from that." (€35.000 might be the budget. "I also think the lack of money is the cause of previous Eurovision-"dompers" . When you don't invest a lot of money you can't come up with a good song and a good act. The past six years we constantly sent bad songs and meaningless acts. Of course, Glennis Grace and Edsilia Rombley are excellent singers, but the material they left with wasn't suitable at all. "You can say anything about us, except that we are meaningless." Hind got a 4-year-old song out of the closet, and Edsilia only trusted the compositions of her husband Tjeerd Oosterhuis. (..)(..) "A good song will do it. It doesn't matter if you're from Eastern Europe or not." "It's not an Iron curtain contest!" Finland, Greece, Belgium,Turkey reached the top 5. (..)"We received an invitation from the BBC in the mean time." (..) "I say we will reach the final. If we don't it would be a huge disappointment, but than we would still have our concerts in the Amsterdam ArenA. "

OMG.

If they have the right song, they could do quite well ... some oldies ( not that these are oldies but middies ) do well ... if they get that nostalic feeling they could do good ( Oslen Bros ) :D Good Luck Netherlands !!

(But I just hope they don't wear those awful coat things they're weaing in the picture, why do they have to wear hideous 60's fur in every single picture lol!?)

It will probably be even worse. They announced in an interview that Gordon will go completely over the top. Jeroen less, and René.. I don't know.

Goooo Netherlands :D After they ditched the bad Topper, theres now hope for qualification (and with a really good song, who know!?), because I think the new line up is alot better :)

(But I just hope they don't wear those awful coat things they're weaing in the picture, why do they have to wear hideous 60's fur in every single picture lol!?)

Anyway i'm sure they'll be great, good luck Netherlands :P

Last night I had dream seeing De Toppers singing a dark metal-like song. *lol*

For now I don't like songs 1, 5 and 6. The titles seem so uninspired.
