Eurovision vote phase one
Be a part of the international jury for Greece now
Readers are invited to vote for their favourite song in a special poll now. Greek readers cannot vote in the poll. They will have the opportunity to vote in the televote, worth 40% of the result in the final. The international result will be delivered by Stella Floras, as one seventh of the jury vote.

- Multiple votes by users will be discounted, as will all votes submitted from Greece. Several checks have been put in place to ensure that these votes do not count.

we all know that u call catchy pop songs craps u told it million times and we got it. be sure we really got it. nobody can decide which is crap which is not this is matter of tastes.forexample for me greece was super in 2004 and 2005 while greece was totally crappy in these years for u. but also for many others it was so good thats why it became the winner and 3rd . sorry but u cant call my taste crap than i can say yours is totally crap too but i really dont wanna do it coz i RESPECT OTHERS TASTES. plz do the same too. u made your point in last years turkey and greece sends the biggest craps for u and we got your messages but saying it million times started to be so boring and irritating. if u dont like these songs just dont comment on them and dont pay ettention to those craps. but let us love these craps and vote for them

dude chill out i know u love Greece that is why i wasn't nasty or anything and yes i was jokking about the channel and embassy tried to be a bit smart ass but pls dude i respect your opinion i really do, but also u have to respect that although Greece offered a lot to music Hatzidakis, Thothorakis etc Sakis is just a small part of the industry but he is loved from a huge mass of greek fans.. we have at least to respect their views and thus respect the channels decision to send him even we agree or not... I just felt that people happily came here to vote and start saying oh i vote for that or for that and then we have u mate going on and on how u dislike sakis etc and thank god there are currently 4 others esctoday posts running to express our feelings here is about voting i think.. that's all dude

Mate i'm patriotic as u say but if u r so angry with the channel and its decision i suggest either right a letter to the channel to complain or even visit the Greek embassy in France and make an official stand, not in this window where people who want to vote are happily voting and expressing their opinions. I know u mean well though dude but i believe here its not the title: do u like sakis songs? Oh and to make it even better for u Sakis announced to be the Embassador of Greek Turism for 2009.. Clever move.

@lina what the hell is that kind of connection, that the song is crappy to me because it's from Greece? How dare you shorten things like that. My god i wish the forum was still up so that people would get to talk more often to each other and get to know each other. The two countries I have the most music from in my computer are Greece and Estonia, two countries who have potentially great music but that insist sending crap to esc, is that my fault? oh yeah of course you're mad coz i didn't go hypocritical "in my opinion it is a crap" but damn that's implied of course, everyone here implies nothing more but His Own Opinion.
And yes France has chosen internally not just last year but almost every single year since 1990 with very little exceptions (1999, 2000, 2005 and 2007). And that's not a problem, coz you didn't get my point at all. If choosing internally means making a choice for the country as a certain direction then it's fine. But if a country already chooses not only the artist but also THREE SIMILAR songs, then the country imposes already a direction, then what the hell is the BIG hypocrisy of making a final to give the impression people actually chose the entry? Fake, and moreoever, what made me mad is not Greece choosing internally, but choosing internally year after year the same type of shaky crap entries, which I just hate. But hey no one should agree with me, it did bring Helena and Greece its first victory. I just PERSONALLY IN MY OPINION, there happy now, think that this is a big mess and a crappy situation. Period.

i voted for 'out of control' tho to be honest, its best of a bad bunch.im surprosed he put himself forward with such weak songs...will do ok coz of greek diaspora voting, put nots still struggle to go top ten in final....like chiara's disaster of a song...big 'comeback' is big 'mistake'...ah well, good luck to them
I voted for 'out of control' but still not really sure if any of the three songs will get a top placing for Greece, even though they are usually one of my favourite countries. Best of luck Sakis!

I was undecided. After listening over and over, thoughts started to change. BUT, I still went with the one that stuck in my head the most after first listen: "This is Our Night". After all, most people will only hear the song once in ESC. The chorus line "This is our night, FLY!" stuck from first listen.

a) It was you who posted the off-topic place in the first place saying you were pissed with so many articles
b) I was defending esctoday, OK maybe it was slightly out of the rules, but it was for a good purpose. And you can stop being so smug because its not as if you can pretend you've never broken the rules
