First stop Germany
Elena starts Eurovision promotion tour
Elena will travel to Germany on 10th March for a four day long stay. She will attend the International Tourism Fair in Berlin at the invitation of the Romanian Tourism Ministry. She will perform Balkan Girls and meet fans as a representative of Romanian culture and tourism. She will also be signing autographs for fans, meeting the local media and the promotion clip of the song will be played.
Elena enters the contest in Moscow on the 12th of May, in the first Eurovision semi-final, interpreting the song "The Balkan Girls”, composed by Laurenţiu Duţă. will be broadcast, live, on TVR 1 and TVR International.

It is a good song. If Romania chose this song, good luck! But was better if Catalin would represent Romania in ESC.
I love this song,after all is dedicated to girls who like to have fun together;al other songs are about love,peace,wailing, etc but this song is special because talks about a beautiful girl feeling great and doesn't need to have difficult "meaningful lyrics" ;for a ballad is very useful to have poetic lyrics not for this one which is a uptempo balkanic song

this year the jury of spain will give a zero points to romania, the televote gives a 12, so 6 points from spain to romania.
i only hope one thing, whit the crisis, the romanians inmigrants not spent his money to vote for this song.. and we can give a totally zero to this worried song...

We must say about elena that she first made part of a latino band,called Mandinga.After the boys decided to bring other 2 singers,Elena quits the band and she stars a new life as Elena Gheorghe,but changing a little bit the style.From latino she goes latin-pop.Now is one of the best singers Romania is proud to have.
She is beautiful,smart intelligent,she dances and sings at the same time.

I really feel angry when some idiot aka Sea Master starts trashing Elena for nothing. I´m pretty sure this SeaMaster is the same person who was spamming everywhere last year, claiming that senhora do mar would win and yet nothing like that really happened. Hey, Sea Master, get a life. Speaking only for myself I have to tell you I´m not interested in Portugal´s entry at all. If you tired of the Balkan Girls go and try düm tek tek or always for a change and leave Elena and her fans alone.
On second thought, Romania will qualify, they are in the same semi with Andorra, FYR Macedonia, Israel, Malta and Portugal and Spain will vote in this semi.
This makes an average of 36-40 points. I think that Bulgaria and Turkey will also give some points to Romania and maybe Montenegro and Bosnia as well. Romania will qualify probably in a 7th-9th place.
i really like this song and i don't know why u say it's trashy and cheap. i've been listening to almost all the songs from ESC and trust me there are lots of songs that are horrible. this one is quite nice and has rhythm, at least i won't fall asleep listening to it as it will happen at other songs.

With FLOR DO LIS you may find just little bit of the portuguese soul! The lyrics are brilliant and the chords either in agreement make anyone close their eyes and start some kynd of a voyage trought the most beautiful landscapes of our mind an heart. My dearest eurovion fans I can´t really find any sound quality in this song!! We've saw this kind of music THOUSANDS OF TIMES by other countries like Turkye, Albania... whatever...It's been a little bit boring everytime, every year listenning at Eurovision all the same kinf of music over and over again!!!
