and also about sinical statements here regarding religios solidarity :))))))

1. Azerbaijan, Turkey and Lebannon are not Islamic countries. We are secular states with predomenantly muslim population.

2. Using this logic, if tomorrow for example France will give 12 points to Spain, can we in Azerbaijan or Turkey say that this voting was based on christian solidarity???????.... ;)

and in general, suggest you stop making statements which devide our people and nations to religious camps. we all human and should not create any additional obstacles between ourselves.

another series of typical neighbor votes /
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
before making any statement, suggest you go and see geographical maps :))

just for the information: flight time from Azerbaijan to Austria for example around 3 hours versus 3hours 50 minutes to Lebannon... :))))

lebanese are arabic origin nation. azeries are turkic-caucausion origin. there are 3.500 kms distance and 5 countries ( armenia, georgia, turkey, siria and izrael)between lebanon and azerbaijan :)))

and after all of this....yes we are neighbours :))))))))))))))))))) )))))

lebanon loves ethno rythms btw. our music is the same! this votign is no way polital. if it was, cyprus, armenia, greece and france (woops) will have the highest points. :)

lebanon in eurovision next year with MIKA or SHAKIRA. :)))))

LEBANON IS HALF CHRISTIAN. HALF MUSLIM. THE ONLINE CENSUS IS WRONG AS IT INCLUDES PALESTINIAN REFUGEES CHUCKED OUT OF ISRAEL. (THEY DONT HAVE LEBANESE NATIONALITY). AND 85% MUSLIM. NO WAY.

THERE IS NO PROBLEM WITH MUSLIM COUTNRIES ENTERING EUROVISION. HOWEVER HAS A PROBLEM IS RASICST.

& to be honest. lebanon gave no points to israel because the song is shit. yes it is in arabic, but the song hasnt got deep lyrics at all. & in arabic songs, the lyrics are deep. israel2008 was a winner. this year its a way of getting people to think israel lives with palestinians in peace. wrong.

UK TO WIN 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!

reddog my friend but they r just ogae votes and has an impact on nothing, they r just for fun and dont forget only 10-100 members decide for their countries in ogaes :) all votes will be so different from the ogae votes in esc so relax and take it easy .but i liked their top 10 not cos they gave points to us but many of those songs r also in my top 10 :)

Reddog Red [40017]
Wed 29 Apr 2009 22:58:40

for real

what i ment is that you share same religion and culture as being muslim , and i don't think it's a minus , pleeease
tunisia , libya , kazakhstan , morocco , syria , algeria are also EBU members so they should vote too . i just think it's nonsense that lebanon votes , and even if they would give 12 to france and 10 to russia , songs that i really like this year , i would still think the same

FOR REAL [54451]
Wed 29 Apr 2009 22:54:24

reddog no we dont have same culture at least in history or now we never been close with them except being muslim if u think it is a big minus :) and what do u think about ogae rest of the worlds votes? lebanon is an EBU member and u told it was almost in once but rest of the world isnt EBU member or never been in esc :)

Wed 29 Apr 2009 22:43:21

i think some people describe the votes which are for the countries they don't love as political this is so wrong other people don't have to think like you do they can love the songs that you don't love

Reddog Red [40017]
Wed 29 Apr 2009 22:43:03

for real

lebanon used to be half christian but now it's almost 85% muslim .i have many friends who are christian lebanese , most of them moved to europe and usa . again it doesn't even matter that they gave top points to turkey and azerbaijan , they belong to the same culture and obviously listen to the same musical genre . the point is again that the country that never ever participated in esc should not be allowed to cast its vote

FOR REAL [54451]
Wed 29 Apr 2009 22:38:20

reddog my friend it is really not nice relating it with religion and lebanon is half muslim half christian country , they r not our neighbours even they r neighbours of israel and cyprus not turkey or azerbaijan and we dont have any relationships with them politically too :S so i dont think their votes r unfair or it is about politics it is just about the music that they like , they love ethno pop songs and some turkish, greek singers r popular there who sing ethno pop songs :)

what is the problem with OGAE lebanon?people in lebanon may love eurovision this is not wrong

Reddog Red [40017]
Wed 29 Apr 2009 22:28:34

For real

i don't think it's right that the votes of the country that NEVER participated in esc are being taken into consideration . that's all . i have nothing against lebanon as a nation . these votes are just ridicillous because they are obviously political , giving two highest points to fellow muslim nations and completely ignoring israeli song which is sung half in arabic . i mean give us a break

and for your info this country NEVER participated in esc , it had chosen a song a few years ago but decided to withdrow because they didn't want to play israeli song . morocco however participated in 1980 i think , only

FOR REAL [54451]
Wed 29 Apr 2009 22:22:10

reddog my friend, lebanon was in esc :) morocco too and many people loved azeri , turkish, french, greek ,bosnian, spanish and norwegian songs maybe u hated them but still many countries voted for them not only lebanon :)so what is wrong with lebanese votes? i cant understand why people r against lebanon, sad :S
