Aww, thanks Denmark! ;) I think these votes seem realistic. Denmark will most likely give 12 toa Nordic country and to Bosnia of course. And so great you gave Estonia and Armenia just missing out! :D

This looks like a knock-out! Heia Norge!

BUT, I guess on May 16th we will have a much more voting spread.

Candidates to get 12pt, 10pt & 8pt are many more than you probably think:

Even 2007 (Serbia won) 21 out of 24 entries in the finale got 8, 10 or 12pt from somebody.

So how Norway could win, is because it is a song most peoples/jurys could like and give a high score. Other candidates to win will probably only get a high score every now and then:

Turkey
Greece
Azerbaijan
France
UK
Sweden
Bosnia
Estonia
Lithuania
Albania
Ukraine
...

Do you get my point??

Ridiculous,

it would take someone very brave to suggest norway won't win BUT i can't help wondering if this could be a 1968 year where everyone was asking themselves who would finish second to cliff richard when he won...
Could be wrong of course but I do think that Switzerland staging and totally class song could be a victor as could bosnia and even UK might challenge hard given the hype around the composer - I do question whether ALW would want to appear on stage with a song that might not do too good at the esc?? seems a LIL suspicious but there ya go

@ Molly

ROFL :D

Well, now you actually deserve a free Fairytale CD. You're kind of cruel, and I've just found out that we actually reward that in Norway. :) Now, about Alexander, would you like a Fairytale CD, or just a Fairytale in genuine?

Sevgi,
Don't be stupid - look at the result so far, Norway 1th, Sweden 3th, Iceland 8th & Finland 12th - if other countries can vote at those, so can Denmark as well! You could complian, if you found the 4 Nordics in the top of this voting, but isn't the case... :(

@Sevgi: Televoters neighbour-vote, not ESC fans. Look at the difference between eastern countries and their OGAE voting compared to their actual voting on the night. There is often a huge difference.

The Nordics scored high here simply because the Danish OGAE liked the Nordic songs, not because of neighbour-voting. ;)

and they said, eastern europe vote for their neighbours ok we see it Denmark :)

Irish boy

Not half as boring as it will be on 16th May. Norway just getting 10s and 12s from 41 countries.

There we are - Norway have over three hundred points already. As they will on the 16th. The biggest mystery to me is how on earth did Germany score as many as 5? Who is responsible? A free Fairytale DVD to anyone who can clear up the mystery.

OGAE from everywhere: you are sooooo boring!!!!!

Mic Simon [31486]
Wed 6 May 2009 10:30:55

No big surprise there - I expected these countries, but didn't hope for Norway with the 12 points... But seeing the Danish Fanclub webpage for a while, it was sure they LOVE Alexander Rybak & Fairytale :)
Only surprise were that Malta wasn't in the top 10.
Anyway - a big congratulations to the countries & gratulerer Norge ;)

Luis... what are you doing all over esctoday this morning??? :)

Lina: Yes, Bosnia has shown to be very populare in Scandinavia, but then again - we really like those balkan ballads and Bosnia&Herzegovina almost always has great entries! :) Greece, Ireland, Turkey, Ukraine and Spain is usually rather populare too, and Israel. But in Norway (and the rest of Scandinavia) there are quite calm harmony around politics, so our votings are very rearly political. At least not negative, but we do travel a lot to southern (warm and sunny) countries like Cyprus, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Spain, Bulgaria, Romania etc. so of couse we might get a little cutural influenced by nice vacation memories.. :) But this year all of the Nordic songs are great, so I find it rather understandable (and execusable) that we're "voting for eachother".

Jonny: There are nine OGAE's left.

Thanx to Denmark for our 12 points, we all wish the best for Niels Brinck in Moscow and your great song "Belive again". ;)
