Eurovision Day 6: Malta, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia
Song 4: Malta
Chiara from Malta hopes it will be third time lucky for her. She is experienced of the Eurovision Song Contest enough to take to the stage all on her own. She has now revealed a stripy outfit with a very nice cut and waistline. The backdrop reflects the calm ballad mood of What if we. Chiara and Malta do again what they do bet here and slimmed-down Chiara looks better on stage than ever.
Song 5: Bosnia & Herzegovina
Next to rehearse is Regina from Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is already a familiar performance with the white uniforms and red backgrounds. The band is standing on the stage in a row with the drummers in the middle. The whole setup has been finished for a long time already and it seems the Bosnians have not needed to make any changes to what already is a very strong performance. Vocally and visually Bistra voda must be one of the strongest in this semi-final.
Song 6: Croatia
Song 6: Croatia
And another ex-Yugoslavian country next, Croatia. Reality TV star Igor Cukrov is joined by five lovely ladies, whereof Andrea is sharing the lead vocals with him. It is a big powerful ballad. The backing singers are dressed in black like Igor, while Andrea is in white. The stage is mostly blue.

Bosnia is Great... I cannot even imagine how its performance be broadcast on TV, cause now it looks awesome
Bosnia - is just great. I have loved the song from the first time I heard it.I seriously think it will be between Bosnia and Norway in the finals.
Malta - I have never been a big fan of Chiaras voice, even though of course I do see her qualities. And this is really one of the most annoying ballads this year. Sorry....no votes from me to Malta.
Croatia - Very good! Has climbed into my top 10.
Sarajevo 2010?! I think it would stand between Bosnia&Herzegovina and Norway in the end.
Bosnia has a beautiful, catchy and unusual song this year, and the lyrics are incredible.
Norway has a cute, eastern europe-influenced song with a cute guy singing. But the lyrics aren't anything special.
Let the best country win!
My vote
goes to Bosnia!
Greetings from Sweden!
some croatians here are really upset. same people over and over again saying the same old things over and over again. chiara is this and chiara is that!!!!!!!!!!! pathetic as usual. in 2005 it was the same but they swallowed their tongues. lol
its her live pefomance which is going to put chiara high on the scoreboard........ if chiara was representing croatia many votes will be a guarantee!!! so shut up and be fair.
GO MALTA AND GO BOSNIA.
Bosnia could win this year...Chiara has a great voice and we expect her to be on top of the chart...Croatia is a beatiful song and is one of my favorites too. Good luck to all. Very hard to predict who's better than whom. Most of the songs this year are grat except for a few such as Cz Rep,Latvia,Serbia,Ireland or Israel. The rest can easily go to the final.
Chiara was the best...........WONDERFUL CHIARA!!!! I LOVE THE BACKGROUND SO MUCH, AND GO OUT THERE AND WIN IT FOR US MALTESE ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!!!!!! WHAT IF WEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Well, Bosnia and Herzegovina is surging and I would not be surprised to see Regina winning ESC 2009 and us celebrating ESC 2010 in Sarajevo, which is by the way, a beautiful city that has suffered terribly. It would be poetic justice to bring Eurovision to this lovely city to give it the attention that it deserves. Oslo is also very nice, same Istanbul and Athens. Don't know much about Baku but I know Stockholm is gorgeous and the Swedes are seet and wonderful people. So, it will be a nail-biter and I think that there will be no runaway winner this year. Also keep an eye on that Anti-Crisis Girl, she is up to something, just wait and see...
that's it
and you know some croatian
hvala puno jele jele that you agreed with me
if we wanna to comment about every each particpate we dont have to be hurtful and always in constructive way pls!!
i agree. it's not nice to say Chiara is pig. i loved angel in 2005. and she is great singer, but this year i find lots of better songs than what if we. so, that's my opinion, and you don't have to say bad things about Croatians just because i don't like the song. and not all Croatians are same, like in every other country you have different kind of people. chill and enjoy esc 2009
thank u finland...u dont have to be agree with zagreb 2010...but at least u like cro song, right?
excuse me to join here but sorry i would not tolarate that you could call our singer like that
mind ur language pls pff
eurovision is something that makes us unite not to fighting like a kiddos come on =/
Paige is imagining things. Chiara has really boring song, and let's face it- no chance of wining. neither just a little. and yes, Zagreb 2010, i absolutely agree
im not upset...wtf?....well u,american..u mentioned pig in ur post...well,everyone knows who is the biggest pig on this esc-C-H-I-A-R-A
Hey Paige! You're just bloody fierce! And thanks for siding with us this year. And pls just ignore the Croatians they seem to feel pretty upset...
tell me who is the best male singer for u on esc??
u r american..what do u know about esc, piss off.....chiara is the best vocal on esc...and of course u cant compare male and female voice.....chiara is the best female vocal and igor the best male vocal on esc...happy now??
and everyone knows chiara wont win for sure.....i snore when i listen her song heh..so stupid
@split dalmatia
As all it matters Chiara can participate for Malta each year... and im sorry to tell you that you are mind closed and suborn. I have been for 2 years on scholarship at the Julliard College NY - and also even people with no degrees in music can say that Chiara is better then your singer. Well about the last question I can not respond to it cozI am not into the Maltese music scene that much since I'm from California.
BH was one of my favs but its loosin its magic im serious i cant watch it seriously
cant focus n laugh all the way
why do u need those weird figures lmao
sorry BH
well..i dont know who told u igor is a bad singer.....he is the best male vocal on esc 2009...believe it or not
and u can look on other facts,if malta wins(laugh),do they have a space big enough for a show like eurovision,i dont think so...their whole island is big as eurovision arena....speaking ironicly
Bosnia is the best... VOte for us... We will not disapoinnte you...
Sarajevo is amazing city... Mix of east and west culture...
See you in the Olympic stadium Zetra !
Paige Halliwel
I don't say anything against Chiara, but honey sorry, third time n eurovision, with a nothing special ballad, common please, and yes Igor Cukrov is better performer than she...Can I ask you something?Does on Malta any other singer than Chiara hahahhahah
Looks like Croatians on this site just woke up and are feeling Chiara as their threat. Reading most of the reactions by Croatians, it shows that they have some of telepathy agreeing that Malta's entry is so so so boring. So there is a news flash for you, do you even think that your newbie (call him the hell you want) can actually compete with Chiara?? Coz honey believe it or not it ain't make sense!!
