Eurovision Day 6: Ireland, Latvia, Serbia, Poland
Song 7: Ireland
The Irish girl band looks definitely the part in this catchy number with songwriters from Ireland, Sweden and Denmark behind it. The set is all gold and silver with some flashes in a very stylish way. A nice little pop romp to cheer us all up after some more serious songs.
Song 8: Latvia
Intars Busulis goes all stressed and part hysterical while he sings about a traffic jam in Russian. The set is also projected with traffic and road signs. Intars’ voice did seem very hoarse today, so hopefully he is not too unwell for the second semi-final.
Song 9: Serbia
Next in turn is Serbia and their crazy shoe. The leading couple are in yellow and shine PVC, while the backing dancers are in white tops and black trousers, the ballerina in all-white. The graphics resempble very early computer graphics in orange on a green backround. This lot definitely have a lot of fun on stage and it will probably catch on to viewers at home too.
Song 10: Poland
Last in this group we see the rehearsal from Poland. Lidia and all of her team are in white and the only colour comes from the red ribbon used by the dancers, creating the colours of the Polish flag. The backing singers are wearing gown type long outfits. Lidia's frock is a bit grey on the front and has a huge white train.

I can't take your word for it. On every performance I've seen her perform the song live now - she sucked on every one of them! But she has not sucked as much as on this rehearsal!

Ireland: sinead please??? give barbarella back her outfit, WTF is that??? you are fat to use that! i like the song it's kind a bad cover version of an 80's song, but girl please your outfit turns me blind, the epitome of bad taste

Serbia: OMG, i used to like serbia's songs with that "killing me softly" ballads that makes you cut your veins and bleed on your knees... but WTF is this???? is not even funny, is not even eye catching, is soooo but sooo null, and please, the guy with the afro, looks like a cross between dolly the sheep with bipolar sindrome and "the brain" from pinky and the brain, the 90's cartoon
Poland: i like the song and that things, but the outfits, OMG she looks like a teenager going to a prom and being possesed byt the spirit of a pagan priest, the chorus looks like "santeria" priests that are going to sacrifice a hen, and the female dancer looks like a doped gymnast out of control by her allucinations

Lidia is ill, her problems with throat are visible, she doesn't sing the song like she's preapred it...she's a really great singer, I don't wanna leave is really difficult song, even for professional singer, look at her vocal skills, it shows that she's a really good singer with angel's voice

Much improved rehearsal from Ireland, Sinead sounded gr8 .. not to sure bout the outfit .. she is also giving more attitude which is good .. all in all its looking good for Ireland .. Can only get better!!!

@Layla, well, they will try to change the video in few days, however the organiserz have ruined the lighting, too. Of course, the song isn't that entertaining to have a special show, but it has a social message and Sasha prepared an artistic performance to it (to reveal that message of the song to everyone). The organisers found that Sasha's performance would be too artistic (simpe, but clever) and refused to help him. 
I think that Lidia Kopania's performance was very good. I'm form Poland and I'm very proud.

Ireland
I love their light flashes, goes with the style of the song. Sounds like she sings worse in this rehearsal. I'm not sure I like the too shiny outfit. Some black trousers with that top would have fitted better. I still think she needs more attitude, maybe it'll come once there's a huge audience present and the atmosphere is right. I want the best for this song and Ireland to qualify, I like it.
Latvia
"Intars Busulis goes all stressed and part hysterical". We (or I) don't want to know what YOU think of the songs (or the women), that's bad journalism. Keep it objective! He really did sound worse in the beginning of this rehearsal. Anyway, I know he can do better. I like this song a bit, it's interesting, lol. The energy seems absent in the beginning, but gets a little bit better further into it.
Serbia
"Serbia and their crazy shoe." OMG! Beware, crazy person writing! I love Serbia this year, great song! Killer accordion and those hair styles!!! Milan's crazy skunk-hair and the accordion-afro rocks! The whole performance is just so entertaining and fun to watch. I can't wait to watch this live on TV. I will vote for them guaranteed now, lol. The background colours and lights, the graphics, it all fits. I love those dancers, especially at 1:15 & 2:43. Milan looks kinda cute, lol.
Poland
Awful, cliché song and lyrics. Bad accent, bad and weak voice and she sings out of tune A LOT. Do not like this at all. More white clothes and gospel gowns... even more cliché. Gosh, she sings so f'ing BAD! SO COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY OUT OF TUNE. Awful voice. This is too tragic, OMG! I also find the dancers distracting and too fast-moving for the song. It's painful to listen to her, I'll have to mute her on the semi. Her final note sounds like something's dying...

What happened with Sasha? Why can't they just make/use another background/lighting? He doesn't need anything special, the song is the most important after all. I mean, when they can change Malta's background to something very simple in just a few days then they can with Lithuania too! It can't be that difficult for them.

As much as I like the Cypriot song, when I watch the rehearsals I can only say that the girl can't sing. She has no voice at all. Pity because I would rather have Cyprus having a good result then lots of other countries that deserve it less..
Am rather impressed with Ireland. Didn't think so much of it to start with, but Sinead's performance is really good. Good luck Ireland !

C'MON IRELAND! A really really GREAT second performance from the girls and, from what I could hear, not a note wrong from Sinead throughout.
Everyone seems to be down on Ireland this year, and I really don't understand why - it's such a great, modern change of pace for us.
People keep asking for a return to the Irish songs of the 1990s but no-one ever seems to have anything good to say about 'In Your Eyes' or 'Rock'n'Roll Kids', so it's hard to know what to think. And, let's not forget, the last time we sent a 'traditional' song to the contest in 2007, we came last last last...
This was the first time I've thought that if Ireland gets into the final and plays late on the Saturday night (position 18 or above) and the girls give it their all, you never know what might happen...
But I'll be gutted if we don't qualify on Thursday night, because we deserve to...
Latvia maybe will make it due to televoting, dont forget that countrey almost every year passing in the final even with weak songs , and this year have more changes beacuse Estonia, Lithuania, Ireland and Poland are in the same semifinal with Latvia
