Eurovision Day 6: Norway, Cyprus and Armenia
Song 11: Norway
The set echoes a fairytale wonderland. Alexander is wearing the same clothes he wore in the national final and hopes to repeat his winning performance he did in Norway.
Song 12: Cyprus
Cyprus seem to be well organised and very much focused on their performance. Standing on a white lightbox in parts and in a breeze (wind machine) Christina gives a good vocal performance.
Song 13: Armenia
Last up today it's Inga & Anush. Good vocal performance and well suited costumes for their presentation. One to watch out for perhaps?

I think im in love with you Alexander! ;-)
NORWAY - extremely disappointing. I thought they were going to change the backdrop for the second rehearsal, but it's still that hideous mixture of everything and tons of nothing. I can't say I'm sorry their performance is bad, because I never liked the song anyway.
CYPRUS - too bad they didn't post the clip with 2nd rehearsal, but if she was anything like in the first one, then I'm extremely happy. This song has always been in my top 10 and I'm glad Christian hasn't failed. Good luck!
ARMENIA - awesome stage act, I especially loved the beam lights.
Armenia, Just Get Out Of Our Lives and take part in Asiavision Song Contest!

Cyprus's "FiReFly" with Christina Metaxa & Nikolas
,
whose song presentation with its LOVELY vocals is like
an elegant atmospheric DREAM!!!!!!!!! Well done!!!!!!
Please make the most of the big advantage offered to you ... performing AFTER
Norway's song...
Despite Alexander's inexplicable(!!!)
lead, his song's presentation is anything else
but ... a 'fairytale'
, since it STILL is a ... screaming{/b] vocal AND visual mess!!!!!
Best of luck, Cyprus!
Special wishes, as always, to Greece's strong UPLIFTING song "This Is Our Night" with
S A K I S
!
"...FLY to the TOP, baby!"
" sorry norway bad performance really bad!!! " one kid 16 y o know about good and bad performanse this is amazing...LOL
The show is amazing. Specially the beginning, with the fire and the smoke and their exotic movements... they`re like snakes and then they spread around and at the end of the song get back again. Anyways the show is very unique and new. Fresh Art trio has done a grate job with the costumes and everything. I definitely get the Caucasian princesses feeling looking at them, it`s like a mysterious, dark-ish fairy tail. Love the show... but the song sucks, I don`t like the song, not my cope of tee but I`m sure the show will save this song from failing completely. After all it`s Eurovision and the show has as much if not more to say than the song itself.
Christina's "Frefly" is so pretty
Good luck Norway and Armenia and Cyprus
CYPRUS SONG IS FANTASTIC!!
Norway really stands out
)
Oh god Norway is horrible, don't like the act/vocals or Rybaks smug look. I really hope they don't win as its completely overated in my opinion. Going to vote Estonia or Iceland.
Well done, Christina Metaxa & Nikolas!!
Fortunately, "Firefly" will be performed AFTER the troll's dizzy, busy,
in-the-mixer presentation of 'fairytale' and its ... vocal AND visual mess!
(Alexander has NOT convinced ... ME)
a.k.a. that is MY opinion.
GO CYPRUS!!!
Excellent presentation... LOVELY vocals... an elegant atmospheric DREAM!!!
Armenia's rehearsal was fine! Good luck!
must admit, christina sounds much better. wish cyprus will reach the finals.
God I love Norways song

I am sorry to report that the Norwegian ESC entry ”Fairytale” has been reported and reognized as plagiarism. The song is a copy of ”Detswo” by Russian singer Jura Shatunov.
sorry norway bad performance really bad!!!
Happy European Day for Norway, Armenia and Cyprus
and for All Europe
Χρόνια Ευρωπαϊκή Ημέρα
Բարի Եվրոպական Օր
Lykkelige European Dag
Happy Europian day to all Europian brothers !!!!
@Whatever ...
You are wrong of course. I have said many times Norway is the best etc. Because it IS in MY opinion. That is NOT the same as saying we will win. Learn the difference.
Layla al-magnuna
It's true, it's actually we who don't hype up our entry. I have never said we will win 100%.
That is not true. I've been reading your posts!!!! You've all declared victory --one way or another.
I left another one of my little poems but so many comments were written in so little time ... that it wen on the next page... to not be seen.
Seeing my comment is not the problem ... "hearing" a singer who cannot sing IS.
@tan tan
Well, good you liked Maria
@Eurovizz
That video of Alexander with Petr was fun, he looks like he's having a lot of fun there at least. Cool that he seems to have Kirkorov's support as well.
I also loved hearing him sing a little bit of his new song at the press conference. It sounds really good.
I will leave now, we are going to watch the ESC final from 1967 now, LOL! Good night Eurovizz, Sara, tan tan
It's true, it's actually we who don't hype up our entry. I have never said we will win 100%. I'll remain a bit pessimistic too. We will receive negative comments either way, lol.
1. I will be very happy if we qualify at all!
2. I will be happy with whatever good placing we get. Even qualifying is an achievement.
3. I will be happy on our national day the 17th regardless
I think it will be very close in points this year between some countries. It's harder than ever to predict a winner.
i dont know why everybody wants to win that much what will change ? i think nothing , atleast schools wont be closed for winners or sun wont go down for the loosers
i cant understand sth everybody is liking fairytale before your national final but then now everybody has started to post bad comments cos it became a fav and maybe that makes ppl angry
why we dont know to appreciate good things wherever they come from. even the worst songs dont get as much as bad comments like the favourite ones maybe nobody cares to comment on them or maybe they arent affraid of them so no jealousy towards bad songs
I don't like the idea of a bright, Norwegian summer night. I think the background as it is now shows more "fairytale" look. The moon and stars and fireworks, it fits well I think.
I hope they don't change it because then I might not like it. I want it to stay somewhat the same, because it worked so well and looked good.
Please don't change the scene Norway, please... The 2 rehearsals have been so great, I fear a change could mess it all up and everyone will be right - flop!
Besides, isn't it too late to change now? There are no rehearsals left except a short dress rehearsal?
I don't understand tan tan's logic here. A song is not a worthy winner just because of clothes, promotion and no musicvideo? Sounds so shallow and stupid to me.
Also, I am fed up with all the criticism towards Russia as a country, politics and their organization of the show. It seems to me they have done a lot to make this ESC great and they get so much cr@p said about them. I don't find it fair. Leave politics and gay parade issues out of it! All the backgrounds/lights have been nice, great or amazing - none of them are bad. The only flaws I have seen have been the artists themselves and their voices or songs... Malta got their background and I'm sure something will be sorted out for Lithuania also. I'm sure the actual show will be impressive to watch next week! It's so close now...
BRAVO CYPRUS!
Armenia is AWESOME!
Rybak could use a new wardrobe... Something shiny, and with his shirt open.
