The Cyprus interview
Christina Metaxa speaks to esctoday.com
Christina spoke about her second rehearsal which took place on Friday. She will represent at number seven in the second semi final on 14th May with her song Firefly. Last year, Cyprus was eliminated after the second semi final when Evdokia Kadi represented the country with the song Femme fatale and finished 15th. The last time Cyprus appeared in the final was in 2005.

Great concept Cyprus ( unlike last years crap ).......
Christina is really great, lovely song and message, she deserves to do well on Thursday.
Wow great personality and her song is catchy! And her English skills are amazing, I mean for a 16 year old!!! She deserves to win a lot more than many of the other snotty singers!

i have to say that at the begin i did not believed in the song and the singer, but now i like it a lot, the concept and the atmosphere of the song is great
Firefly is such an elegant, sensitive song with a social meaning that will probably be lost in eurovision. Christina has improved most than everyone I've seen this year...her rehearsals have been 100 times better than the nf.
I want to believe that the juries will help this song go to the final.
Cyprus is one of the best!!
