Germany: Dita makes a booby on Eurovision stage
Her nipples were however covered partly by some glittery stars. Whether this kind of nudity will be allowed by the Eurovision Song Contest bosses, remains to be seen. If so it will be a clear a new precedent on what is and what is not consider suitable for the Eurovision Song Contest stage. The rules of the contest have previously been interpreted to prohibit nudity and anything else that might bring the contest into disrepute.
Germany is one of the Big 4 countries directly qualified to the final and will perfom their song Miss Kiss Bang Bang at position 17. The artists are called Alex Swings Oscar Sings!

Good song, fine show. If EBU doesn't want any erotic hints, they can take the camera away from Dita in the end of the song when she appears on stage, that's simple.
I like the German song, Miss kiss kiss bang. Cheery song.
But I don`t like their performance. I expected performance more like official premiere during the Echo Awards.
Dita is a very beautiful woman and what she does is an artform.
But from what I´ve seen they should tone it down, after all its eurovision. I do think she, her kind of show and the german entry goes very well together. With the right kind of level of sensuality she could really give Hadise a run for her money...

I saw some pictures (not the video) of the rehearsal and I do think that Oscar looks like a pimp and that he will be Jóhanna and win the Barbara Dex Award. Oscar MUST NOT unbutton his shirt!

I honestly don't care about strippers at the press conference or not - a song's a song, and Ich liebe Germany's song this year, and no amount of ranting about sex selling is gonna keep me from appreciating it.

You mentioned Iran WOW last thing i saw about Iran was a documentry about 2 people who felt in love with each other and they just wanted to live their lifes together. The documentry ended with 2 people got hanged because both of them were male. sad story but true
Its ok cuz u probably never learned how to be tolerant, open minded or respectful towards other people.
And never forget we live in Europe (thx god) and not in backwards oriented Iran.

There are no shows left to watch for us who hate it! Are you that blind you don't see that? There's not many programs left on TV for us who don't like it.

I do believe a stunt like this could potentially win points, yes.
Look at Svetlana, what does she really have? Except sex-appeal (some would say, I don´t agree). And Ukraine will definetly be in the running tomorrow. And nobody will ever convince me that the song-quality has much to do with it. 
And what about Israel 1998? Or Ukraine 2007? They did very well. One was a former man, and the other was, let´s face it, somewhat of a freak. lol
Gimmicks matter. To be honest, i dont really mind them that much as long as the song is also good. That may be why Dita doesn´t upset me much, coz I simply adore this entry.

I never mentioned the quality of Macedonia's entry, nor compared it to the German entry. In fact, Next Time are NOT the best what our country could offer (they had an average song and OK performance, in my opinion), but somehow, the bests songs produced here end up on the artists' albums rather than on our national preselection.
I assumed that the problem in Germany could be that the most popular artists refuse to participate at ESC, but still, Euro-dance songs with simple lyrics is NOT what should represent Germany, simply cause the music market there could offer a lot more, even if there is no Tokyo Hotel etc. (by the way I am a lot more familiar with your country than it may seem ). That is again, my opinion. And yes, No Angels, were below average.

No offense to your country but in my opinion the german entry this year has no cheap quality, but I agree thats a matter of taste.
It`s not the best song ever but a big step forward if you remind our catastrophic chicks last year.
I agree, we have a lot of really good artist in germany (tokyo hotel, silbermond, wir sind helden).
But you cannot send somebody to esc who does not want to sing on there.
For example uk has got robbie williams, elton john, leona lewis oasis etc. where are they?
And i think its the same with famous artist from other countries.
They are all afraid of cutting their carreer (actually the "carrer of No Angels is over now after the esc...and thats good I think)
Nor elephants or aliens on the stage, NOTHING can actually make up for the low quality of the German song this year.
No offense to Germany, I love the country, but WHY such cheap songs for the ESC? You have Ich & Ich, Xavier Naidoo, now even Daniel Schumacher... Something HAS TO be changed.
I just saw it on Youtube in HD. It was a great performance. True there is no real nudity, but it is rather revealing. But no more then Ukraine.

I think you are making a fair point, but who would give the song points for seeing bare breasts? I mean, there must be a reason if they are going that way, but how much could that really help? Yes, it will be remembered better, obviously, but does that help if the potential voter don't like the song - I don't think so.

this an argumentation i can understand.
But, as you said it, germany is not the only country with this kind of gimmicks and "cynical" way of getting votes(infact "sex sells" rules not first in this years competition and i think germany is not the country well known for its sexhows or sexy outfits in esc)
Infact, i would wish back the old esc (formaly known as Grand Prix de Eurivision de la chanson).
Only a good singer, a good song and no gimmicks, pyros, lightshows etc.
This would be a real SONG contest.
But i think the way we go right now is a one way street and no country (including my own) will go back to the real sense of song contest.
Its a pitty but it`s the new way of esc we all have to handle.
You can like it or not, but it`s the way it is...we as viewera can not change.
At least I would like to say that it`s not Germany or the Germans you have to put all your shame on...because we as german esc fans can`t change our act even as you can`t even change your acts...so stop this stupid anti German nonsense.
Lets enjoy the show and change program if something doesn`t fit to your interest.

If Ukraine's porn-entry is allowed there is no reason why Germany's entry shouldn't. And I saw the rehearsal... whilst Ukraine's performance was just tacky the German one was HOT.
