The grand final
Tonight: Eurovision Song Contest 2009
The programme
The show will start at 21:00 CET and it will be hosted by Alsou and Ivan Urgant at the Olympic Indoor Arena in Moscow. The final will be opened by a performance of the Terem Quartet, the Cirque du soleil and 2008 Eurovision Song Contest winner Dima Bilan with his winning entry Believe. The interval act will be performed by Fuerza Bruta.
The voting
25 countries will present one song each. Every country will give 1-8, 10 and 12 to their ten favourite entries of the other countries. The ranking will be based on 50% televoting and 50% jury voting. In the case of a tie, the country that got points from more different countries gets the higher position. If there is still a tie, the higher position goes to the country that received the higher amount of 12 points (or 10 points, 8 points and so on). From this year onwards, it is clearly stated that this rule shall be used to dissolve any tie, not just a tie that affects the winner. Apart from the 25 finalists, the 17 countries that were eliminated in the semi finals will also have voting rights.
Internet broadcast
If you cannot follow the show on television, you can watch the show through the eurovision.tv internet live stream (without commentary) here. If you have not done so yet, don't forget that you will have to install the Octoshape plugin before the show starts.

I accept! Sarajevo 2010, because Bosnia and Herzegovina have the best song this year, melodic, vith the most beautiful lyrics.
Norwey vote 12 pts for Bosnia and Herzegovina
Battle for the first place between bosna and norway
Hope SARAJEVO 2010
12 ZA BOSNA OD MAKEDONIJA
Everyone seems to be predicting a good placing for the UK. I am British, but I don't think we will get a good placing. It wouldn't surprise me at all if we are in the bottom four again. Jade is a good singer. She is one of the last entries to sing, but that doesn't mean anything. Yes, she is the last of the female ballad acts. Yes Andrew Lloyd Webber is going to be on stage with her, but I still don't think we will get a high placing even though she may well deserve it. I think that Greece and Norway will be fighting it out and Azerbaijan might just nick it from them. I have a gut feeling about them tonight and I think that may well do it. Personally, I would really like someone who hasn't been mentioned amongst the favourites to win. I would like to see Portugal win as they have never won it before and whenever I hear their song it always makes me smile, but I don't think they have a chance either. I suppose we will see in a couple ofhours time.

please, there is no such thing as soviet union. all countries that WERE in this union were taken by FORCE, and non of us think of it as positive experience. we have our own identity, "post soviet" isn't the only thing about all these countries. please, respect others, yourselves. thank you. and if talking about Baltic region, I think Estonia may go high, but not winner. also maybe Ukraine might win, though i think song is quite cheap. Russia will definitely go high.
ROMANIA will be the surprise!!! Vote for ELENA!!! (nr.22)

sabi love I am aware of this poll (thanks to greek tv)
It is said that juries have possibly voted for the UK, but i am not at all sure that many televoters, especially in the East and the Balkans will pick up their phones and vote for the UK...
BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, GREECE, UK OR MALTA
sabi . what about other countries like france ,sweden and estonia
