Turkey: Eurovision final was the most viewed show
The first semifinal, where Hadise took partwas watched by just 9.28%, reaching the 3rd place in the daily ratings, with a viewing share of 22.97% (Almost one out of four households in Turkey watched the show). The second semifinal got a lower place - 16th, with 2.37% rating and 6.20% market share.
The grand final was placed first in the daily table with 21.54% rating and 58.54% share - out of two Turkish households, more than one had watched the show which brought Hadise to the fourth place with her song Düm tek tek.

John Redpath, there are millions and millions of people who live in UK that you don't know. The votes for Turkey from UK possibly came from a very high number of viewers who really liked the song and the jury must have been impressed with it too. The televoting and jury results must have been high from UK, which is possibly why they gave Turkey 12 points. Everyone has different tastes. We can't all like the same things otherwise, the world would be a very boring place. You must always remember that! Hope that's helps.

As a matter of fact he did. After this landslide claiming that Norway is not the right winner is pathetic. Try and be sensible about it, please and accept the fact that Turkey came 4th, which is a very respectable position in a contest with more than 40 countries taking part.

The only thing i agree with ...Cr@... The Real Winner is HADISE is that this al mighty Scandinavian/Nordic/Viking ESC Mutual Support Pact is killing ESC. They have been blaming all these years the Easterns / exYugos / former USSRs for block voting etc. However they exchanged high marks like crazy. They even managed to qualify this horrible outdated pitifuly sang Finnish song! Hypocrits.
P.S. Rynak deserved the victory.

Perhaps you could show some respect guys: stop throwing mud and making sick jokes about each other. The Turkish song was quite good and got what it deserved, a good final position. I was a bit disappointed with Hadises semifinal performance, but in the final she was much better.
Stiill, I'm glad Iceland and Norway ruled the contest this year as their entries clearly stood out.

Vocaly she was embarassing.
She could hardly dance.
Her appearace was pitiful. It was like Turkey sent another girl and not that beautiful thin sexy blonde girl that we all saw in that preview video.
They should be happy that they were in top10.

dont you understand? Hadise was ill ! that's why she couldnt do her best. And Russia didnt want her to win that's why the sound system-grounds-walls colour wasnt good when Hadise came.
Everywhere was red-what a shame! some people couldnt see her well bec. of this.
Anyway; Hadise is winner in our hearts!
And yes; we arent happy that she came 4th.
