Guys EBU rules says that each jury member must be in music industry or to have something to do with music, as i saw from Belgium jurys team nobody have that EBU standArs to be a member in jury team ! So i thing Belgium brake EBU rules !!!

@ Y D Israel

[what is political in the israeli song???
it's a part of our life. if Norway will sing about the cold weather will it be ok?]

Well, I guess , Georgians were also singing about not wanting Put in? That wasnt about the weather in Tbilisi, was it?

[we sing about the most important ( and painful) thing in our life and we feel we must hope for another way./b]

You can not prove that your pain is more important or less tolerable than the pain of Georgians. They were disqualified for singing about politics.

[the most political thing is the anti israelis here who find the oppurtunity to say something against us. because of people like you we don't have big chances to win the contest because you vote politicaly. /b]

Common, Israel have already won this contest twice or three times I think. What should POrtugal complain about? I still find Israeli song as one of the best in terms of vocal presentation, melody etc. But that doesnt mean that the juri should be politically correct and show compassion to Israeli song when we had Patricia who didnt get a single point. Were Belgians afraid of being biased when voting for Patiricia? What kind of joke is this? Belgian born Hadise got 4 points easily just for being born in Belgium and Patricia who can give master class to ESC participants this year got 0 points after 20 years of brilliant career in Belgium and France?

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?? YOU CALL THEM PROFESSIONALS? THAT IS PLAIN JOKE. THIS IS A RIDICULOUS JURY. they didn't vote for songs. France should have gotten 12p from Belgium but the jury didn't give any points at all to Patricia as they wanted to give Hadise the points. Shame. fixed results.

@ PurpleCow: We have more neighbours than any other freakin' country (except Russia maybe) , which has never helped us (just 1 win in 54 years)

Purple Cow [52814]
Fri 22 May 2009 16:57:47

@ Manuel

If the song is good you shouldn't care about neighbour voting.. I mean if Germany had an amazing song.. what if 9 countries didn't feel like neighbour voting? (Germany has 9 neighbours right?)

Manuel (Germany) [34658]
Fri 22 May 2009 16:40:56

Then it's even more suprising...

I mean a big part of the song's appeal came from the text and all these "profesionals" should've been able to understand it.
Maybe they didn't want it to look like neighbour points, but still....

@ Manuel

No it can't be, because the jury was from the RBTF, so it was a Walloon jury.

Could it be that this year Flanders voted and because of the stupid language-conflict they ignored a French song?

BTW. Alexander Rybak is #1 in Sweden,Norway #2 in Finland,Denmark and #5 in Belgium (flanders)

No France or UK votes given by the Belgian jury!?

Are you sure they were professionals?

Purple Cow [52814]
Fri 22 May 2009 15:40:28

I heard that the RBTF also complained about their own jury not giving points to France.

@ Martin
They don't need to vote (jury and televoters, but televoters usually like those songs becasue they are in similar or same language and those singers are popular in whole EX Yugoslavia), but still don't need to vote each other, as Belgium don't need to give France any points if don't wanna to (televoting and jury)!!

Martin Maillot [57040]

Lily Bel, I think you are intelligent and can read my explanations in my earlier posts... I could very well ask you this question: Why must FYROM, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia Herzegovian & Slovenia vote for eachother REGARDLESS of the songs?
