@ Whatever
Sakis had a very nice song and a magnificent show.
The song however wasn't strong enough to win.. please accept that. Iceland never was an outsider. I knew from the start it was going to be "big" ! Better luck next year ! The Greek entries are always amongst my favourites !
WOW engla has a new friend in the world of make believe lol....
Take notice...
Further to my last comment, dear DEFENDERS of winning song ... MY so-called spam-season was AGAINST the Norwegian song that, eventually, won!!!!!!!
Reminder: I was the only one promoting Azerbaijan's
"Always" as the song that ...EVERYONE
needed to beat (including Alexander or even Sakis), because it was MY most favourite ESC 2009 song at first AND every listen ...
During the voting, Azerbaijan was No. 2 on the Final SCOREBOARD that is before Norway voted last
and ----out of its original order
, I might add---- having conveniently given Iceland the JURY votes (ONLY) of 12 points because of a so-called .... "glitch", but those 12 points changed Azerbaijan's No. 2 status to No. 3.
Furthermore, Iceland's song was an outsider that
became a Top 10 contender three days before the Contest!!!!!
How did it become No. 2 in the end?
Unethical voting patterns, perhaps?
At least, it was a nice song with a lovely singer!!
Sidebar: My supporting Greece's "This is our night" was an obligation to my country and NOT a reason to be attacked.
JUST AS E.V.E.R.Y.O.N.E. SUPPORTED THEIR OWN COUNTRY,
I SUPPORTED MY COUNTRY'S ENTRY, EVEN THOUGH YOU
or I COULD NOT EVEN VOTE FOR OUR OWN COUNTRIES.
This was supposed to be harmless fun BUT
--EVEN BEFORE NORWAY WON-- IT WAS CRUEL T.O.R.T.U.R.E.
AND "MUDSLINGING" AGAINST GREECE AND SAKIS ...
AND THAT IS WHY I AM ANGRY!!!!!!!!!!!
BECAUSE OF THE WAY YOU DEFENDED/ARE DEFENDING
THAT FIDDLE-PLAYING BRAT WITH HIS BAD ---IMO-- WINNING/W.H.I.N.I.N.G. SONG..
YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE....
So, I'd rather be ONE in 10,000,000 who hates the song that, eventually, won ... because you cannot change my mind or "hear" what my ears "hear". A BAD SONG.
Furthermore, I have never appreciated being A.T.T.A.C.K.E.D.
or bullied by anyone, who distorts and twists the truth in
MY writing, my thoughts and I don't intend to stand for it
now or ever.

The moral of the ESC 2009:
To NEVER, EVER have an opposing opinion about Norway's ESC 2009 winning song --
BECAUSE ITS SUPPORTERS WILL GANG UP ON YOU AND TWIST YOUR EVERY WORD.
Yes yes of course Whatever, now it's the Norwegian supporters who are the most crual people here .. *starts to laugh when I summarize the overall spam-season here on esctoday*
Whatever, please give me a break, I am not Norwegian but just fed up with your extremely childish behaviour. How old are you anyway ? Every time I wrote something negative about Sakis or Hadise, I got lynched, so please cut the crap and move on.... and at least have the decency to let the Norwegian enjoy their (very deserved) victory.

@Whatever,
My friend you said a lot of extremely stupid annoying things but now you 're just losing it....
* Sakis was the hot favorite ???? By whom ? The Greeks themselves. He was never a favorite, and would never be a favorite with such a horrible 3 songs you guys had to choose from
* Sakis was the biggest treat ???? What a joke...
* What I have heard from my Greek mother in law, did your two horrible commentators make every country look rediculous EXCEPT Greece.... So not the Norwegian commentators. Btw I think that every commentator in every particpating country must have jokes about Sakis as it was quite a pathetic attempt for attententio or in other words a big storm in a small glas of water....
* If someone is to blame for a big dissapointment for Sakis it's the extremely annoying attitude of lots of Greeks here, shouting since Sakis was chosen, that Greece would win, Athens 2010.... And fe the Greek site Oikotimes, who literally killed every entry, once again except the Greek one. So me, and I pressume lots of others got so fed up with you guys' attitude that even if you would have paid me, I would not have voted for Greece....
@ Whatever
LOL, 'leave me alone'......sure!
At ESC 2009,
Greece voted FAIRLY; Norway and others did not.
So Norway didn't vote fairly because we didn't give any points to your PROFESSIONAL entry. Very objective! The 21 countries who gave you 0 pts must've been very biased then ..
At least our entry was original and traditional
And no, Rybak didn't say anything bad about other entries in Russian
So if he could speak in Russian, everybody could speak in English or had interpreters!?
Eurovizz -
The fact that Sakis WAS indeed a HOT favourite (for many months) was a BIG rush in itself for him/us ... and which must have surely made Alexander ... squirm and sweat till the very end, because that is also when he, finally, ADMITTED
that Sakis WAS his biggest "threat" thus having made sure that NO Norwegian would vote for 'This is our night' and, along with your ESC commentators sure "helped" in that direction, too. And he spoke fluent Russian
, so who knows what he said to the Russian-speaking countries...So, I really do NOT mind that he, as Greece's representative, did not win; because HE does not mind it either!!!!!!!! At ESC 2009, Greece voted FAIRLY; Norway and others did not.
Don't worry. Sakis has a long career and it is stronger than ever. His performance was outstanding and so were ALL of the other performances of the BIG names/professional ARTISTS. That's what matters to him and to them since THEY were undoubtedly noticed more than others ...
Honestly, I have never denied that Norway won. In May 2010, the ESC will be held in Oslo, right?
Good luck and ... to quote the title from
Finland's ESC 2007 great entry
... "Leave ME Alone"
@May T , sorry, it wasn't to you.. my comment was for Axel Kearns
Norwegian friends, Alex came in new entry at 5 last week in Belgium's official charts, and this week he goes to number 1, Hadise who was number 1 goes to 2 and Johanna from Iceland goes from 35 to 22.... so 3 big hits in Belgium coming from this Eurovision... well done to all.
@ Sarytale
Why do you keep replying with what YOU want to say?
And dismiss what I say? I am very angry with you.
Dear Whatever, you keep saying to other people here that we shall not reply to your posts. What is your point by writing long essays about your non-objective opinion all the time then? Don't you write to us here, to get some feedbacks and attention? lol come on .. and by the way, we don't expect you to accept that Alexander Rybak won, but either to respect that he won. I feel sad for you if you find it painful that your favourite didn't win, but you can't behave like that Norway almost "robbed" everybody's victory, that's just simply not fair.
And by the way, I want to ask you about what you really mean by the word "professional". Is professional for you that music performers do add cool and modern coreographies in their acts on stage, or what? The only professional performer from your list is Patricia Kaas, and she's famous because of her personality and musical style. So I don't understand what you mean with the description professional for Sakis, Aysel and Hadise.
And do you really think this year's ESC would've got so much attention from the abroad as it has gotten now with Rybak as the winner, if Sakis won? No I don't think so, and I even don't think he would've been ranked that high in the abroad charts as Rybak either, nor been invited to big shows such as Ellen in the US and Paul de Leuuw
MY GOD kids, there are some language in here tonight!
Your parents would be very upset!
hmmm testube baby or a royal FKup on evolutions behalf... LOFL
... and Madonna is slightly older than I am!!!!
Of course, you did not call her a testube baby, because she did NOT express any negative opinion about the winning SONG or its SCREAMER (not singer).
If I am a testube baby as you say .... then, what is YOUR Mother????
I am close to your Mother's age, dear, T K !
@sara: plz plz plz dont reply to the testube baby.... please lol
@ Sara
Why do you keep replying with what YOU want to say?
And dismiss what I say? I am very angry with you.
For the LAST time, I do NOT mind that Greece (especially) or Turkey or UK or France or Azerbaijan did NOT win. For me, ALL 5 performances by the most professional performers, this year, were indeed the most OUTSTANDING, but MANY in Europe avoided to award points exactly because of their outstanding performances!!!!!
Well, ALL of these BIG names/professional ARTISTS (Sakis, ALW/Jade, Arash, Patricia Kaas, Hadise)
did place --effortlessly, I might add-- in the Top 8
despite ALL (not only Sakis) having ALL been O.U.T.S.C.R.E.A.M.E.D.
by an ... u.n.k.n.o.w.n. fiddle-playing brat with a W.H.I.N.I.N.G. song that he wrote and which was special
ONLY to him as a message to his long-lost girlfriend who married
another ...guy!!!!! Oh, what heartbreak??????
... SHE WAS OLDER THAN HIM!!!!!
Plus I do not appreciate "hearing" an old-fashioned folk song competing in the year 2009.
Also, he never convinced ME that it was the best song!!!!!!!!!!
However, we ALL (even myself!!!!!) knew that Alexander was leading early on ... and, believe me, his winning was NO surprise.
Just because he won does NOT mean anything to me.
This victory was just a geographically WESTERN thing
(conspiracy?) ... with a Russian seal of approval!!!!!!
In fact, it was rather BOOooooooooo-r-ING.
And the winner spoke Russian fluently....
Very Os-LOW!!!!!!
You must be sooooooooo proud!!!
Now, SCREAM LOUD like Alexander "sings".
Norwy won. THAT'S ALL, FOLKS!!!!!
@marko: clearly u dont, if u did u would give up bitching like an old woman about rybak
... get over, withou the juries he wouldve won by more!
@ TurQuality
"Düm tek tek is not hadise's only one song which is composed by herself... hadise's all other songs are composed or writed by herself too(some of them partly).. and she has nearly 40 songs..
and she relised a new english album this week which has her own songs(composed by herself) too.. don't be jealous anymore.. she reached top 4 although jurry.. and we've seen them most of jurries voted for her.. "
Ehh... I'm sorry, but I don't quite get your point..? I'm Norwegian for one, and I'm too grown up to feel personally threatened by a popsinger..
Have I said anything to you to make you think I'm jealous of her/you, or did you by mistake just use a wrong word for what you wanted to say?
@City flyer, Alexander took the initiative to hug. And I didn't get the idea Alexander can be intimidated that easy. The interview was great and Alexander sure knew how to reply. I don't think he was embarrassed, he seemed to have a great time.
congratulations Norway and ESC
and thankyou Alexander Rybak
For a beautiful song "Fairytale"
I thought Paul de Leeuw was too much in this interview with Alexander teasing him several times about Dutch singer Gordon being gay. .....and then later getting close to kissing Alexander who then got embarrassed. Leave Alexander alone. He does not deserve this ...infact he was pro gay at the contest winners conference saying that the ESC was the "biggest gay party in the world". Otherwise the Dutch duet they did was great.
about norway : i congratulated them before.. maybe this song is not my cup of tea, but alexander clearly deserved to win with 387 points.. if all of these people voted for this song.. so all of us must repect to voters's opinions... congratulations again..
@May T

The song Abandoned based on the melody from russian film "Dozhivyom do ponedelnika" (We'll Live Till Monday).
And the text of 13 horses based on the Russian poem of Boris Slutsky "Horses in the ocean" (only the idea, both texts are rather different).
It's not a plagiarism. Alexander's parents gave him good russian education)))
I think Dolphin is the best song from this album.
