@Dino i never say anything about her "little mistakes" and i never argue with her , she always make bad comments about my reactions and take conjectural about my comments and a lot of times that conjecturals abuse me ! So it was time to anser to her beacuse i make silence for a long time and she exploit that silence ! Maybe my reaction for immigrants was whrong and actual i whrote that reaction wrong, i never have problem with immigrants and i never was racism ! And she found opportunity to attack me ( again ). All jesting apart,I would expect the Cypriot jury to give greece 12 points,seeing as their music stars are interchangeable.When Cyprus get to the final again i would expect the same in return.Sakis didn't give a good performance this year but is still one of my Best of 2009 ,on my i-tunes playlist.The backing music just doesn't sound right even on CD,but it is a good song.Cyprus have been robbed of good placings many times.
2005-Ela Ela was Top 5 for me
2007-Comme-Ci,Comme-Ca ----should have made final and top10.
2008-Femme Fatale-----------should have made final and top12 if it did.
So if anything these 2 countries show that Jury vote is if anything more realistic than televote(can you tell I want televote stopped).
Heehee regarding Stavros Flatley. I've already suggested on their facebook page that they should enter for Cyprus next year.Funny to see it suggested here as well.regarding the whole 12 point thing,am quite suprised this year as Sakis was (for the 1st time in ages),not a good entry.I've listened to it on CD and can't here it very well,so it wasn't just the live performance.
@ Lina. I thought it was the Russian women who were the stripper’s (they are even in the north as well). I agree there are a lot of immigrants in the south; I was shocked when I went last year. But I never knew that there were 180,000 immigrants-that is a lot! They may be 'guest workers' but I bet they will never leave lool.
@Ozi, immigrants fromPhillipines and Thailand belong to the past and actualle that immigrands from that 2 countreys was girls who was dancing in striptiz shows clubs , since 2003 we have huge immigrants from Europian east countreys and espeacially from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova . Maybe Germany , UK and other countreys have millions of immigrants from that countreys but since Cyprus have only 800.000 population 180.000 immigrants from all that countreys are too many But the huge numbers are coming from Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria and Georgia I dont want to speak for Armenian in Cyprus beacuse Armenian in Cyprus are community and not Immigrants . In Cyprus we have Latins, Armenian and Maronite communites Whell..if Lebanon join to ESC all Maronites will vote for Lebanon

@ Lina. Yes I understand what you mean. But what I meant is that in the Greek part of Cyprus, most immigrants are in fact from countries like Thailand, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka- although you are correct that there is people from Ukraine and Russia as well; but they are only small communities.
When you compare this to countries like Germany, the UK and France (to name but a few), they have large immigrant communities who are actually in the contest. Hence, I do not feel that the jury needed to try and stop or influence immigrant voting.
@ Erika. Well I actually liked Greece’s song this year, and it was in my top 10. But unfortunately the Russian production team did not do the performance justice. The cameramen were to busy trying to show how big their stadium was rather than focusing on the artists!
I agree with you Erica, Cyprus 2008 was SUPERB! And performed brilliantly.
Why is everyone so angry at the Cypriot jury this year giving Greece 12 points? Sakis' vocals were appalling on the night, but the song was catchy, the routine eye-catching and certainly the best of the night, Sakis is hot hot hot and a superstar in the Greek speaking world, so i can perfectly understand. If the Greek entry this year had have been Soraya's effort from Spain, i cannot believe the Cypriot jury would have rewarded that with 12 points.
Mina X - 50% jury/televoting is the closest you will get to pleasing everybody, so let us hope they also have that system in the semi's next year as well, and then no more arguments about voting again, ever!

Well to you it was a " joke " song ( cyprus 2008 ). To me it was a beautiful song, in the greek language that we haven't heard ( in esc ) in such a long time...it made me feel good! I still listen to it
@Ozi I m living in Cyprus and i know about immigrants here but if u want just check previous years Cyprus televoting and see to which countreys Cyprus always give points : Russia, Moldova, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Belarus This year Cyprus jury didnt give a single point to all that countreys And for example this year in semifinal Cyprus gave 7 points to Moldova, 4 points to Serbia and 6 points to Ukraine , but Ukraine and Moldova get ZERO points from Cyprus in the final Russia only 1 point and Armenia only 4 points If this year was only televoting Armenia will get 8 or 10 points and Russia 4 - 6 points @Eurovizz i thing u dont have good diplomatic relations with Greece and Cyprus ..LOL
