Cyprus: Marlain Angelides for the Heineken Festival
Fans of rock and Marlain can support the artist by voting for her in her effort to enter the Heineken Festival in Spain this June. This is a chance for unsigned artists with original material to play on stage with various rock bands from around the world.
Marlain has submitted two songs, a new one, Oh God call and Mr Uptight One night stand, the song with which she took part in the Cypriot pre selection for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest.
You can vote for Marlain and help send her to Spain here. (free registration required). Voting ends this weekend.

Lina i've read many of your posts and you are fond of conspiracy theories and bribing and all that.I don't think Mega channel would risk bribery accusations...As for her character,i don't know her but i'm sure she wasn't the only reason why hi5 went apart...
@dimitris, in hi5 group passing by cheating , she was too old to be in one teen girls group ( she was 29 -30 yo that time ) , and again the reason who that group split out it was beacuse of her, she make a lot of problems to other girls and also to her manager and to her music company , whell i agree with u about personal life but if anybody have bad attidude and perfect voise have no change to make a carrier Just see her.. since 1998 fighting to make a carrier and she has too many opportunites to make that carrier ( some times with her father money ) , but she didnt for 2 reasons first reason: beacuse she didnt learn to work to take her money and second: her bad attidude and some worst voices but with good attidude girls are very famous ( kalomira for example )
Well actually she is known in Greece too!She took part in the greek version of "pop stars" and she was among the 5 that finally entered the group "hi5".They had some success but they went apart few years ago.She has a powerful voice and she was singing with Vasilis Papakonstantinou a famous greek rock singer...I didn't like her 08 and 09 entries though...As for her personal life,i don't care if she spends her father's money or so...Really Lina lol...
I know her very very whell, she never working she always spend her father money in long time vacations in New York and London, she dont give a shit for Cyprus, she desapear fron anything until next national final in Cyprus, she always speak bad for Cypriots to her friends , she always says that she is British (beacuse she have british passport ) , she have and Cyprus passport also... lol , 70% of Cypriots have British passports beacuse Cyprus was British colony ( i have also british passport so what? i m british? ) , Cyprus people know all that things and every year dont vote for her, anyway dreaming is for everybody . Sorry now..i m going to dream that i m Carolina of Monaco ...

This woman makes me laugh ...she was born in the UK and is British... albeit from the UK Cypriot community. She had her chance at the esc for Cyprus ....that's it ...let it go now...she will never be famous! Nobody outside of her UK Cypriot community in the UK has ever heard of her!!!

SHES AWESOME!!!!! Imo Cyprus should have sent her in 09 and 08, but especially 2008 ... Rejection, and jealousy!!!
