Romania: Nico releases new video clip
The new song is titled Love mail, while the video clip is produced by Petre Nastase, who was also the producer of Pe-o margine de lume video clip, the song which Nico with Vlad represented Romania in Belgrade.
Nico is also preparing her new album which is about to be released soon. esctoday.com met Nico at Braila's International Music Festival last week, where she was invited as a guest star to perform her new songs and declared to us that Eurovision was one of her biggest experiences in life, and that's why she is probably going to try again next year.
Nico represented Romania with Vlad Mirita with the song Pe-o margine de lume, which came 20th with 45 points.

@Belgium 2009
I'm fed up with the very average Kate Ryan who suck live. You can do better.
Nico is better, she can try again and so can Chiara.
Tarkan is great

Maybe French televoting was

So that the French results were:

Turkey: 7 / 12 / 19 / 12
Israel: 12 / 7 / 19 / 10
Norway: 10 / 8 / 18 / 8

Btw probably worth mentioning. Details for JESC 2009 have been released.
> 13 countries will take part:
> Sweden have returned after missing JESC 2008
> Buglaria, Greece & Lithuania have withdrawn.
> The 2010 contest will take part in Minsk and the organisers will try and find high profile sponsors to bring more money to the contest and thus lower the participation fees, and hopefully making more countries interested. Apparently they're going to aim for 20-25 countries and ask a high profile star to present the show.
I just wanted to notify you all the about the new contest "Globenfestivalen" which has just opened !
It is a new contest ran by myself, Mike & Alex. This contest is a little different from others. It has the same format of Sweden's Melodifestivalen! So it was the 4 semis, the second chance round and the final. So
So this contest i perfect for all you Melodifestivalen fans!
I'm hoping you'll all join this fantastic new contest. Here's the link :

Check out the free countries page and see what countries are available. When you select your entry, please send your entry to minty_loves_mints@hotmail.com. I hope to hear from you all soon.

she looks good for 39 years old

Yes, it's true. Very nice tune and a decent performer. And it's also true that "Disco Maniacs" was a big disappointment because since "Dulce-amaruie" (a song I'm addicted to) I know that Nico is a veritable quality artist and this year she obviously tried it the strictly commercial way. It's good to hear that she willl keep on dealing with Eurovision because she is one of those gems reminding people of what the contest should be all about.
very nice.....I like it
What a great, modern song
See, if this could be performed well it'd be fantastic for esc, much better than "Disco Maniacs" wich she tried to represent Romania with this year
