I don't know much about the French music market but I would love it if they send Shy'm, even if I doubt it will happen :) "Si tu savais" : http://www.youtube.c(...)/watch?v=RkuGokN1AF8 :D

She got nothing from Turkey! LOL and she visited the country lol
it''s a shame that the jury didn't give vote for her. pfff they preferred Albania, Moldova and Bosnia&Herzegovina!

She's a star and i love her songs. The song was amazing my favourite this year but obviously it wasn't the right song for Eurovision Song Contest. She should have either chosen a more contemporary french ballad or just not take part. Next year i hope France 3 to choose a contemporary singer like M. Pokora or Alizee. Well, to be honest it's not about the artist anymore but the song. Patricia shouldn't be disappointed!!! Her song charted on iTunes and gained popularity in some countries where she was unknown! So that's great! Plus, she got the best result for France since 2002 with a song in French! She made France proud! And the contest got great viewing rates comparing to previous years

There are no words for the admiration that I feel for her. Her participation was an honour for the Eurovision, and it made this year's contest unique. I hope other big stars would follow her example. Her song was one of the juries' favourites, but maybe too contemplative to larger audience. But I'm sure her performance was widely appreciated.

The concert was sensational as a whole, I'm still in the mood. She is a real superstar.

I have seen her live so often and when she sings certain songs like "Les hommes qui passent, L'aigle noir, dans ma chair,...." I still get goosebumps.... I can not get enough of this woman. And on top of that she still looks stunning, when she was younger she looked like an absolute topmodel,... a French Linda Evangilista....

Thee song was bad, it worked with juries because of the fact that Kaas was singing it, nothing more. Juries MUST have less impact in the outcome, this is just unfair.

(i forgot the word "because" in my previous post sorry)

I think Patricia is fantastic but I didn't like Et S'il fallait le faire at all i'm afraid :( Maybe if Patricia had had a more ballad-by-numbers kinda song, aka one that the televoters would appreciate more & relate to she could have done alot better I think. I think the main problem was she kinda had the Vania effect, in that her song was nice but whilst alot of people found it excellent, alot of people also found it boring, and it wasn't helped by the draw ofcourse :S

Patricia Kaas is a real star. A star that does not even need back vocals because only her voice can fill the stage.

The points that she received in the ESC does not show that she was not good enough, the points only mean that she was singing to the wrong audience.

Patricia had a great song, great result. She probably would have had a better result if she was last to perform, but it doesn't matter. Good job Patricia Kaas, you had one of France's best ESC entries.

OMG, who wrote this article? So many mistakes. Why ESCtoday allows such an unprofessional journalist to be published on its site. The grammar is way out of hands!

@Paco Roncero:
Dear Paco! I give you 12 points for having written the most decent comment on this forum in a very, very long time! Not because of WHAT you have written (I'm not French for that matter) but for HOW you have written it! Very, very decent! Your positive attitude is a rare gift to have! Take good care of it - no matter what may happen in your life!
Much too often this forum has turned into a hateful, radical and alarmingly intolerant place, that has kept me away for a very long time!
Comments like yours have been much too rare these past two/three years!
Thanks Paco! You honestly made my day!
Regards
Shirley Valentine

Her performance in Istanbul concert was amazing. I was there, and I enjoyed every moment.
She has finished the concert with the song "Et s'il fallait le faire" The audience awarded her with a big applause when she's started singing "Et s'il fallait le faire".

Her voice is fabulous for sure. Her dance performance is amazing, and she is a very sexy lady.

Merci Mademoiselle

Patricia, don't be disappointed! You got the best result for France for years, wiih a difficult song for a popular contest. And you where very well voted by the juries, and that's what you've got to think about, you've got quality, and that's a much bigger award ! Thanks to have brought quality back to Eurovision
