Albania: Festivali i Kenges preparations underway
Festivali I Kenges began on December 21st, 1962 in the ILA Venue in Tirana. Albania's Eurovision Song Contest debut was in 2004 and the country reached 7th place, its best result so far. Albania now sends the winner of Festival i Kenges to Eurovision Song Contest each year.
Singers can send the final versions of their songs and the karaoke versions. Traditionally the winner represents Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest but the song can be translated into English for the international competition. Festivali i Këngës will take place in the December.
According to rumours the Albanian pop-rock diva Besa will participate again in Festivali i Këngës. Besa participated last year for the first time and cam 4th with her spiritual ballad Ajër. She also participated in the Romanian second semi final with the song Nothing gonna change but failed to reach the final.

I hope Soni Malaj will represent Albania in 2010! She's gr8! 
Its my dream to see Kosovo participating this year but knowing the political events i am not sure they will allow as a contry to particate couse you have too bee a member of EBU and Kosovo unfotunalte isnt but i hope in 2011 pershendejte gjith Shqipatris
This year in Oslo will participate two Albanian countries-Republic of Albania and Republic of Kosovo.I hope that they will be good in this competition.I am sure that Kosovo will take a good position in Olso.Good luck from NoolaV!.
if ardit gjebrea really is participating i hope it is as a song writer and not a singer. he's an excellent song writer but i really do not like him as a singer...
i'd love to see:
-rovena dilo back (even though we might not due to her failure 2 years in a row)
-alberie hadergjonaj return
-aurela gace returning is probably just a fantasy but that would be amazing also
-mira konci would be fantastic with a strong song from her husband shpetim saraci...
from the young ones my favourite and i think most deserving is the magnificent juliana pasha. she came 3rd in FIK 2007, 2nd in FIK 2008, so could it be 1st in FIK 2009? 
that would be awesome. juliana's voice is world class and she is a world class performer herself so it would be great to see her in eurovision (with a good enough song she could even win it).
from the other young singers i hope to see the return of:
-mariza ikonomi (which i expect)
-jonida maliqi
-rosela gjylbegu
-eneda tarifa
-era rusi, she was amazing last year and totally underrated. i hope she returns and gets a position she deserves- wins ...
-besa would be lovely aswell.
and from other even younger singers:
-samanta karavello should come back
-marjeta billo
-olta boka (which i doubt, she wont be back for a few years at least)
-greta koci back would be really cool she always brings a totally different side to the contest
as for elsa lila she is mentioned by fans every year i know we'd all love her to return but i doubt that's gonna happen lol... still its always nice to dream...
hmmm who else... albania has so many magnificent singers just often we pick the wrong songs for them...

If Ardit Gjebrea participate at FiK I’m sure he will win FiK or at least top 3. Definitely not as a singer but as a composer.
He should write a song for Rovena Dilo or maybe Aurela.
The songs of Ardit are masterpieces.
Definitely Besa Kokedhima or Juliana Pasha for Albania.
Besa has a very special voice and has star qualities. Juliana has a very strong voice.
I also would be happy to see Mariza Ikonomi, Alban Skenderaj, Aurela Gaçe, Mira Konçi, Greta Koçi, Rosela Gjylbegu, Jonida Maliqi…representing Albania in ESC.

of couce Juliana Pasha i love her voice especially in FIK 2008 she had a great song I love her voice its so strong and beutifull but most of all I wanna see Elsa Lila to participate this year with a great balad and i am sure she will win FIK
I wanna see this year a battle between Elsa Lila-she has a great voice, anjeza Shahini, Besa, Juliana Pasha, Era Rusi, Alban Skenderaj, Leonora Poloska, Adelina Thaci, Olta Boka
But I wish mostly to participate ElsA Lila

I don't like Albania as ESC country, I can say I love it!! I like almost all entries, Anjeza Shanini was good as start for Albania in ESC (tho I don't like so much), girls Kejsi Tola and Ledina Celo had AMAZING catcy songs which were underrated, Frederik Ndoci had quality ballad and his voice is soo good, "Hear my plea" is also very quality and fantastic song! Then Luiz Ejli was very good also in 2006, I like entries in native languages!! And as crown we have Olta Boka in 2008 here in Belgrade!! 
She is so young, but tallented, quality and with AMAZING song "Zemren e lame peng" also in Albanian!! So I like Albania in ESC, and i'm sure many like it too!
Does everyone like Albania as an Eurovision country?
I dont know anything about the music Styles and most of their songs have been average
(to say the least)
Shpat Kasapi will be good for ESC!!!
I liked 2005 and 2007 Albania very much, those were underrated entries, 2007 deserved final at least!! 
Frederik Ndoci is such a good singer!! Anjeza Shanini wasn't soo good for me!!
Besa is good but I want Juliana Pasha!!!!!
Hope that this year Elsa Lila, Anjeza Shahini, Besa or Alban Skenderaj with Miriam Cani heres their wonderful duet together they are just adorable

I'm glad to see Albania stays. It's one of my favourite countries from 2004-2009. I liked all their songs, especially Hear My Plea in 2007. Should have qualified.... However.
I hope for Greta Koci or Anjeza Shahini.
