Concerts of 12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics
Athena gave a concert in Berlin
As part of 12th IAAF World Athletics Championships held in Berlin between 15-23 August 2009, Athena gave a concert in Kulturstadion which sets for IAAF in front of famous and historical Brandenburger Tor.
Concerts started with Norwegian Band A-HA who composed official song of IAAF on 14th August, continues with Athena on 16 th August and will finish with famous violonist Nigel Kennedy on 23 rd August of 2009. There were more than 10,000 in the audience at the Kulturstadion.
Athena competed in Eurovision Song Contest 2004 and came 4th with the song For Real after Sertab's victory in 2003 brought the competition to Turkey for the first time.
