Eurovision 2009 entrats to perform... and a surprise!
Euro Gala Luxembourg: October 17th
The third Euro Gala seems to be gaining its own spot amongst all other Eurovision related parties and events. The country, which hasn't been participating in the Eurovision Song Contest anymore since 1993, has a very active OGAE fanbase who keep the Eurovision spirit very much alive in the Grand Duchy.
The gala which will be hosted by the OGAE President of Luxembourg and radio speaker Eric Lehmann and his radio colleague Sarah Mignani, will be organised in association with the 48 hours during TV charity event 'Télévie' which tries to raise money for children suffering from leukaemia. Besides the performances of several former Eurovision participants, the show includes a song contest with an international jury and a voting audience.
In the meantime, all tickets have been practically sold already. However, the organisation kept some tickets left for fans from abroad. Preliminary to the Gala, there will be a Euroschlager Night organised of Friday evening at the Scandinavian Bar Crossfire, in the centre of Luxembourg city. On Saturday morning fans are offered a city tour which will bring them to all the hotspots of Luxembourg city, the 2 venues that hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in the past included.
Tickets for the Gala will be priced € 20,00 for OGAE members and in presale, and € 25,00 at the door. For more information about the event and ticketbookings: ogaeluxembourg@hotmail.com

The annual Euro Gala is wonderfull! but I had hoped for the return of Luxembourg to Eurovision, I will have really preferred to hear this news (because I am from Luxembourg so I am very tired to waiting for), but this is not the case this year once more... Forbearance!
Sounds Interesting
Apart from Flor-de-Lis, it's a pretty awful lineup so far. I wonder if Monique Melsen will perform Pomme pomme pomme wearing that tremendous 1971 outfit
@Lucian: I know. Initially they posted the Dutch flag. And after I pointed it out, they changed it. Well done.
I'll prob be there! XD
@Keith:
That's Luxemburg's flag. The Dutch flag has dark blue, the Luxembourg flag has light blue.
Why the Dutch flag?
MARKO KON!
lol
