Liechtenstein: 1FLTV ready to join the EBU
1FLTV director Peter Kölbel has stated that the negotiations with the EBU are progressing. He also revealed that it might be possible for Liechtenstein to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2010 already. However, this would demand a change of the regulations: the membership will not be confirmed before December although the number of participating countries in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest has to be definite in November. Kölbel stated that the EBU is therefore considering a change of the regulations, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
If the country is able to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest, 1FLTV wants to take part with a singer or band from Liechtenstein or someone who is closely related to the country. Kölbel revealed that a number of musicians and songwriters had already approached the broadcaster, although most of them were from outside the country.

Given the dropping out of the Czechs, the implosion of Austria/Luxembourg/Monaco's chances of returning (I don't think San Marino will return), and the possible/probable withdrawal of Hungary, Latvia, Montenegro, and Andorra ... I think Svante will get 1FLTV an exception if their membership application is approved. I can't see the EBU turning away contestants who want to join if everything else is in good order.

I don't really like Estonia's flag. The blue is good, but I think the black ruins it.
I really like the flag or Cyprus, I love the colour used to show the island.

If it was blue stripe and then white stripe and then black stripe will be better But again i dont like it From Baltic countreys my favory flags is Lithuania and Latvia. From ex Yugo My favory is Croatia and Serbia, From the rest Balcans : Greece and Bosnia ( another ex -yugo ), from ex soviet : Moldova and Belarus, from Nordic: Norway and Iceland, from rest west countries: United Kingdom and then Portugal , from meditteranian ( exept my countrey) : Spain and Israel, from Microstates : Andorra and San Marino ( Liechtenstein is not in ESC if it was would be my favory instead of Andorra ) and from Caucasus: Azerbaijan and Georgia I have great taste ahh? ...LOL

I say 'South Cyprus', when i talk about the Greek part of the island! I say 'North Cyprus', when i talk about the Turkish part! But sorry when i hurted u! Yes, i agree, to speak about TRNC and 'South Cyprus' in a Eurovision site is not good! 
Yeah, i like the Bosnian flag, because of the star's, and i like the blue colour! 
And i forgot Bosnia flag ! Yes i like also that flag very clever design
@Kenan yes i know that Cypriot flag design by turkish cypriot and he died before some months. But pls i dont want to speak here about "TRNC" or "South Cyprus" beacuse its very sensitive issues. For me its only one Cyprus

Do u know, that a Turkish Cypriot designed the flag of 'South Cyprus'? 
I really liked Turkey's flag in 2008, during their postcard and they made it using strawberries and something else.
I'm sure it would be possible for a small country like Liechtenstein to host. Maybe a bit smaller than other years, but if they are willing to do it, let them. And if they decided not to host after winning, it wouldn't go to a neighbour like Switzerland, they'd probably give it to Ukraine (well, whoever comes 2nd, but that's normally Ukraine )
@Kenan, Turkey flag have too much Red colour like Switzerland and Austria flags and too much red colour are not my favory in flags ( but is one of my favory in dresses ) , I like more combining designs and colours for flags But sure Turkey flag is not bad ! Tell me u r top 10 ESC countries flag designs pls

What is the point of them joining? Just to have another three minutes of singing?
I am sure they won't send anything that will send them to the final and the we will all be sad and everyone is going to attack the East and Scandinavia and bla bla and we are back to the beggining...
And even if by some chance they do manage to win, what then? They give it to Switzerland or someone else? Countries that can't participate properly should not take part
@Marko even and in flags designs we have different taste From the flags u mension i like only Lithuania beacuse have happy colours Estonia's flag colours are so depressing and Bulgaria design are so simple and no beatyfull. Liechtenstein flag is also simple but the colours and the crown make that flag very beatyfull
EBU we need more countries...............
come on EBU let speedthe process up a bit....so that the country is OK in october-november instead
Do the ESC themes need to be the flag colours? Because Serbia, Russia & Norway have all won in a row, and they have the same colours on the flags, meaning themes would have to be same colours for three years in a row. At least Russia mixed them with each other to get other colours as well, like purple. That was a good theme
The three common colours for flags is Red, White and Blue.
Btw I like all the flags in Eurovision!
My favourite flag is Bulgaria, lithuania and Estonia!! UK is very good too!
i agree with @Chef d'Orchestre only if semifinals voting rules change that microstates have future in ESC becuse with only televoting they have only 1% to passing to the final . And the worst thing is that EBU dont understand that ! 50/50 voting in semifinals will be much better for some countries who televoting dont help them and they send good songs ! But ESC 2010 dont have 50/50 voting so again we will see same 10 countries to passing in final and the rest 27 countries to fighting for the rest only 10 places
