Spain: Soraya inaugurates Expoboda
Soraya shot to fame in Spain when she won the talent show Operacion Triunfo. Since then she has gone a long way. Today she enjoys both fame and glory at home and is among the most popular young singers in Spain. She had the honour of representing Spain at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow with the song La noche es para mí.
Soraya will be doing the honours of inaugurating the 16th edition of Expobodas (Spanish Bridal Exhibition Show) this weekend. Aproximately 120 companies will be showcasing their latest trends, fashion and creations in bridalwear at this exhibition.

I tend to agree with Madison. This is what we call in the Netherlands a "schnabbel". A quick way to get some money and/or attention. Artists, and mostly the not so successful, do it all the time. Maybe Soraya is becoming a second Mihai Traistariu.
