Versions in South Africa and Australia
Believe again, a song they believe in!
The Australian singer Orianthi has recorded her own version of Believe again, on her album Believe. Jon Knapman, esctoday member, writes: "Aged 24, Orianthi is of Greek ancestry and has duetted with Carrie Underwood, winner of the American Idol, at the 2009 Grammy Awards ceremony. Being considered as a guitar prodigy, the young lady was offered a place in the prestigious line of guitar players for Michael Jackson’s dates at the O2 Arena in London". Below, you can watch Orianthi 's version:
Jan Götz’s Eurocovers blog, which keeps us informed on every new (or old and newly discovered) version of a Eurovision entry, recently published a link to Heinz Winckler’s video on Ek kan weer in liefde glo the Afrikaans version of Brinck’s entry. “There's another track of Eurovision interest on the new album, Jan writes, Jy gee my butterflies, an Afrikaans version of Butterflies, by Tone Damli Aaberge, the #2 in this year’s Norwegian selection”. Watch Heinz Winckler’s version beneath:
With Believe again, Brinck represented Denmark at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest and placed 13th in the final.

The Australian version is very good, better than Brinck.
Actually The Afrikaans version sounds quite good too
When I grew up in South Africa, we wouldn't dare be caught listening to Afrikaans music, there simply couldn't be something more infirior to that. TBH - south african music was really a load of crap at the time.
IMO Denmark had a very good entry this year...from the first day i heard it i said this is going in my mp3 as soon as possible...!!!
Its not strange others did a cover of it and i like Orianthi ALOT but the original is good too for me!
Anyway its good for eurovision when songs have success...!
I live in the Netherlands, and was surprised to hear a Dutch version in public one day!
My favourite, at least, on the 16 of May and the one...I voted for!!! It should have get a much better place for me!
I also liked Orianthi's version!
Don't even like the song but It's good to see a Eurovision song being covered I think. Both version are better than the original XD.
@ Angelic
I totally agree with u, I want to hear more international singers here in the UK too.
I wish we could hear and see more of other international singers here in the UK.
I have never heard of them are they quite famous elsewhere??
I'm not to sure about this... it just sounds like ronan keating even though one is sung by a female and the other is sung in a foreign language! Nothing unique here...
Same here, not awesome but at least listenable, it's not runnibh rock like the Brink version that was overrated by these ridiculous juries
I thought the Danish entry this year was rather bad, and Iwas shocked they made it through te final, but I'm just blown away by Orianthis version!
WOW!
Orianthi is made of win.
Orianthi is amazing
.. Im officially a fan of her
Yay! At once I understood all of the Afrikaans version, I usually have to listen 2 times before I understand all. OMG that makes.. 1,2,3.. covers South Africa, Australia, The Netherlands.. any more?
i love the afrikaans version more the the english and original one!
WOW =D !
im in love with south africa xD
Α very nice song, and both new versions are very interesting, too!
Love Orianthi's version, its great. Definately better than Brinck's
Afrikaans music is so unoriginal nowadays.. its all covers
Even Australia is not far enough away for that song.
Orianthi's version is SO much better than Brinck's
lol I actually think these two are better than the original! at least they aren't doing a "I Love Ronan" act!
