New televoting method
TVP to publish participants list on November 25th
Poland will held its national selection for the upcoming edition of the Eurovision Song Contest on February 13th, using a new format, Krajowe Eliminacje, and a new televoting system similar to the one that will be used for the first time in Europe’s favorite show in Oslo. The voting lines will open as soon as the first contestant starts their performance.
The official list of participants that are going to take part in this year's Polish national selection will be published on November 25th on TVP's official website.
Although Poland was less successful in the recent history of the Eurovision Song Contest, they succeeded to rank 2nd at their debut in 1994. Last year, they were represented by Lidia Kopania, who despite the fact that she didn't want to leave, she failed to qualify for the big final and placed 12th out of 19 participating countries in the semi final 2.

@Fabio
RTP respects the culture of the country, TVP does not.
@ Michaell
No, there is actually only 34 songs, don't look at uploads, but at Krajowe Eliminacje Eurowizja 2010 set of songs, there are only 34 songs!
OMG and u listened to all 84?! but seriously thanx for the link
@ Michael
Thera are all songs in this You tube channel:

@ Marko
where can u listen to them?
I dunno why i said Eastern european country. I know it's central europe. Maybe I just really want them to win XD.
I'm just saying I wouldn't under estimate Poland in Eurovision, that's all. They won the Dance contest in 2008 and now with the help of the juries and with a decent song (Legenda *cough*) There is a chance that they can do really well. Also, they came 7th in 2003 too.
I listened all of the songs in Krajowe Eliminacje Eurowizja 2010 and I wanna Karina "Uczucia dwa" or Asia Ash "Nie ma nas" of those songs to represent Poland in Oslo!! Those two songs are AMAZING!!!
Ppl listen to them!!!
@ San X
First of all, Poland is not "east", not geographically and nor politically. This is one reason that they don't have the support of the eastern countries either. If you ask most Russians for instance if they would consider Poland an "eastern" country they would laugh at that statement.
History, unfortunately, have psychologically divided Europe west and east. But we have to get past the iron curtain thinking.
Also, Polish diaspora, expect for maybe the ones in Ireland, doesn't really care about Eurovision as for instance Greek and Turkish diaspora does. They are not as fanatic. This is also a reason that Poland never gets any bigger points from the so called "western" countries either.
So this always leaves Poland basically alone in the contest with no friends which has led Poland to basically don't care at all about the contest.
And now when there will be no Czech and Hungary, the few "friends" Poland had is also gone.
I hope they will atleast start trying. But the juries seem to be favoring the countries that are traditionally seem as "western", leaving central European countries like Poland out of question.
So there they are, with no help from juries, "friends" and diaspora.
Anyway good luck Poland and atleast TRY to send a good song finally.
In 1994, Poland should have won. They were also good in 96, 97 and quite ok in 98.
In the 00's they were ok in '03 and good in '04.
This "Legend" song seems promising but WHY in English!? And also they need to have proper versions of the songs in the selection. They tend to have most songs still in demo-stage so they sound very amateur and unfinished.
@ Fabio
I totally agree with u!! Poland does seem ignored.
1994, 2003 and 2006 are their best entries to date.
One thing, I do believe they have potential of winning Eurovision at some point provided they send a decent song and if the broadcaster takes it more seriously. They came 2nd in 1994 and they won the Dance Contest in 2008 and they're an eastern european country.
'Legenda' - http://www.youtube.c(...)/watch?v=LG3gyDb-Lrw
I seriously LOVE Legenda!!!
(I know it's early days)
Without a doubt, the best from Poland has been the first 4 entries: Edyta, Justyna (totally UNDERRATED!), Kasia and Anna Maria. Since then they had their ups and downs, but I still enjoy their songs
For some reason, Poland is always ignored. It's like the "Portugal of the East", somehow.
I'd like to see Iwona Wegrowska or Sasha Strunin.
I adore their piosenkas
Choose wisely and rock Oslo. Good luck to Poland.
Hope they will send something in Polish finally and hope they will have a little higher standard than their usual Piosenka dla Europy, full of bad songs all on demo stage.
I wanna see : Paulla, Gosia Andrzejewicz, Marysia Starosta or Agnieszkia Chylinska
i'm really hoping for sum HOT names this year, enuff with those lame wannabies!
@ThomasXXX thanks for the links- found a couple more songs of there's I like
@Thomas XXX
Yes i know, but Poland is a country, which can't receive many points in ESC!
I wanna Iwona Wegrowska or PIN to represent Poland in ESC!!!
I LOVE POLAND, it is my favourite ESC country and one of favourite in general!! Kisss from, Serbia!!!
@Kenan
Doda wont represent us. She said that she doesnt need it to be an international superstar (its her aim). But yes, I think that she'd be surely in TOP5. She can sing and her shows are always AMAZING.
And she's sexy
@Marky
I doubt in Edyta back. Her singing skills are worse, and her voice has changed. Its annoying to listen. And Edyta is such a drama queen.
@Krzysztof Miśkowicz
Don't use google translator. It's ridiculous.
Firstly, it is probably an error because my country will choose the Valentine and secondly it does not keep an account of the Dead is probably because he is afraid his career rozwalenia participating in Eurovision.
makes a 'grabby' headline, but is it really true???
Sadly, I have rarely liked Poland in ESC. Not many songs appealed to me. Ivan & Delfin and Ich Troje were their best entries so far.
Why is Marcin Mroziński not able to sing in Polish ? English kills his song.
Marcin Mroziński or Natasza Urbańska for ESC 2010 - Oslo
I love "Legenda"
There is a list of songs (about 30 from more than 100) send to polish preselecion:
http://www.eurowizja(...)czasowych-propozycji
Poland seriously has to send 'Legenda' !!!!!!! PLEEEEEEASE!!!!! So AWESOME!!!!
Poland were just incredible in the 90's !! I really hope they get up to that standard again, I really want them to do well
In the 2000's they have been rather average, with only a few good songs. However 2003 was just amazing !!
I hope Poland can find someone who is good live and doesn't kill the song either. I have to mention Edyta Gornaik though !!
For singing my favourite song ever !!
It would be amazing for her to return, but only if she can have a song that will win the contest, nothing short of winning would be a failure for her. Good Luck Poland !!
