Melodifestivalen hosts announced
SVT were looking for several qualities in the hosts of the biggest entertainment show of the year in Swden, including the ability to host the show well, to be very popular with the national audiance, to stand for renewal, to amuse, to sing and dance.
Måns Zelmerlöw will become the youngest ever host of Melodifestivalen. He entered the competition in 2007, taking third place with Cara mia and reached the final again in 2009 with Hope and glory, topping the jury vote but missing out to Malena Ernman's La voix.
Christine is famous from her time with the shows Hey Baberiba and Fredag Hela Veckan on the rival TV4 channel. Dolph will become the show's tallest host in history. Standing at 1.96 metres. The actor made it to the international stage in Rocky IV (1984) as nemesis to Sylvester Stallone and has also appeared in He-Man, Masters of the universe, Universal soldier and Johnny Mnemonic.

Last week, Darin became the first artist confirmed to participate in Melodifestivalen 2010 as the first wildcard. SVT have yet to announce the performers of the 27 songs selected in October by the jury for the competition. The competition winner will represent Sweden at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo.

lol well seriously i think MF will probably be another disappointment. i did like the 08 edition much and the 09 was rather bad music wise but more importantly had terrible results (apart from Caroline who should have walked out with the prize).. But I don't doubt we'll have around 3 or so good songs at least, unlike the 180 craps we were given to listen, well actually 179 I kinda liked "När vi har landat" lol
Atleast we don't have to see Måns on stage finally.
Dolph and Christine seems fun. Måns should be left out of it though. But he has strong connections within SVT now, so that's why he gets a part.
Måns is truly the type of person who does everything to be seen on TV. His not very talented, but his looks saves him. He releases bland albums with music for little kids basically and he uses Melodifestivalen to push his career that not many people would care about.

well unless you're a member of the jury who picked MF 2010 songs there is no way you could have heard the very secrative 31 entries to compete yet, 27 of which we know the song titles and writers, 1 of which we know song title, writer and singer, and then the 3 wildcards with still no information at all... only 1 we all already heard as it is one of the 180 songs picked to be the first "joker" entry.. as all these 180 songs were amateur ALL of them of course many were bd and laughable but I don't get how you can already judge MF 2010 otherwise

Well it's about time that Sweden came up with another strong song. Although if the wildcards are anything to go by, there isn't much chance. I listened to bits of more than 100 of them and OMG, there really wasn't anything terribly exciting - great if you want to cringe, laugh and see into Swedish houses though
After MF-2009 Måns told that he don't want to take part in MF-2010 as a singer and he plan to return to the competition as a singer in MF-2011

The girl, I don't know. Dolph, I remember did a few rediculous movies with Stalone and I can remember him not even been able to speak properly... Oh dear. Is that the best they can come up with ?
