Moldova confirms 2010 participation
Moldova confirmed earlier today its participation to the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. The Moldovan Head of Delegation, Mr. Vitalie Cojocaru has given us all the details about the conditions and of course when the National final will take place.
"Only Moldovan artists will be accepted, and if its a group, at least one of the artists must be Moldovan. Foreign compositions will be allowed as well, but only if the artist is Moldovan. Many big names are already interested in this year's national final but nothing is sure yet. The National final will take place at the end of January." declared the Moldovan HoD.
Moldova participated last year in Moscow with the song Hora din Moldova, performed by Nelly Ciobanu finishing 14th in the final.

Welcome to Oslo Moldova! Even though I have to admit Moldovian entries has never reaches my top 10, nor 15 or 20 for that matter....
BUT, I must admit that Moldova has sent lot of totally different songs... and that is a good thing!

Personally I never expected anything exceptional from Moldova (nor in 2010). Maybe the 2009 entries was the nicest one. But whenever they win ESC, would they be able to host it?

I think Moldova have brought very little to the contest apart from a guaranteed 12 points for Romania

I was afraid of a Moldovan withdrawal too. Now, my worries are about Montenegro, Andorra and Lithuania.
Moldova has sent some very good songs to the contest. I wish them luck and genuinely want them to make it to the final once more.
2007 song from Moldova was the best !!! Also i was afraid for Moldova participation in ESC 2010 , but know everything is ok !!
Great news, I liked all Moldovan ESC entries -. especially the entries from 2005, 2007 ( Natalia, come back !! ) and 2009!
Well, Moldova sends very decent entries every year...
2005: My least favourite, but I liked the performance quite a lot.
2006: That was my favourite entry of the 2006 contest, and I dare to say that it's still one of my favourite songs that have passed from the Eurovision Song Contest.
2007: Quite good, with quality music. Generally a decent entry for Moldova.
2008: Great song, great performance, it was one of my favourites in the 2008 contest.
2009: It was OK, I liked the fact it was a song with traditional music .A bit overrated, though...I didn't expect such place for Moldova.
I'm glad, although apart from 2007 i've never realy liked their entries ... especially 2006 which just brings back bad memories 
I like the entry with granny beating the drum!
I loved their entry in 2007 - none of the rest have trickled my fancy
This year's entry was ok, but I've never really LOVED any of Moldova's entries

2005 - SHOULD HAVE WON!!!! AMAZING SONG!!! SO BRILLIANT
2006 - Have a soft spot for it XD. Great Song
2007 - AWESOME!! Again in my top 5
2008 - My least favourite but still very nice
2009 - AWESOME!! Should have got more points. My 5th favourite this year.

Moldova have never sent a song that made my top five, and usually I'm able to predict them quite well tbh.
But 'Fight' was in my top 10.. not 'Hora din Moldova' I places it 12th - 16th in my prediction but I knew it would make the Final Moldova gets quite a few neighbourly votes also sent a good song.
For Next year more 'Epic; Pop/Rock... like what we seen in 2007. But with some Folk like bits to keep the sound origional (again like 2007)
Never really found any of Moldova's entries outstanding, but i think this year's song was underrated. And it's another confirmed country! That makes 34 according to Wiki.

Great news! Moldova is one of my favourite countries in ESC who almost always send good songs (minus Geta).
Big names... I really hope Zdob si Zdub are returning or some of the O-Zone boys, hehe.
Great news! Hope they will send a song like 'The Century Of Love', and of course a beautiful singer like Geta Burlacu in 2010 again!
