Salem al Fakir debuts in Melodifestivalen
Salem Al Fakir have worked with Swedish artists like Snook, Wille Crafoord and Robyn, but he is mostly known at the moment for his solo career. His debut album This is who I am was released in 2007 and went straight to number one on the album charts. In 2008 he won 4 Swedish Grammys for best newcomer, best male artist, best composer and best producer of the year.
Salem Al Fakir debuts in Melodifestivalen with his own song Keep on walking.

We will know the names of all artists by the end of November. All artists but 4 have been decided.
I haven't heard of him before now, but I really liked that Roxy song! 
His voice is a bit weird, but in a good way - it stands out. I really want to like him, so his song in MF better be good like Roxy. It also helps that he is wearing a Ramones T-Shirt in the video = he got good taste, lol.
This is MUCH better news than that overrated Darin andnow I am feeling almost hopeful, lol.
well his youtubes were all good i really like it
i think this can do very well (around 4th or 5th overall) but it can also die, like the fantastic eskobar, last of their semi for absolutely no reasons at all!

When are we going to get the names of all the artists this year? SVT are drawing out so much, it's getting boring.

Very good! I "discovered" him this summer, and I was hoping he would be in Melodifestivalen one day.

LET HOPE FOR BETTER QUALTY SONG THEN THESE TWO SONG'S . AS I WILL BE GOING TO STOCKHOLM , LET'S HOPE FOR SOME GOOD SONG'S THIS YEAR FROM SWEDEN . AS LAST YEAR WAS DISSAPOINTING.
