Serbia: Zeljko's new album sells out
Zeljiko Joksimovic's new album carries rock and pop influences from the 70's and the 80's but also contains two ethnic songs-Idu dani from the soundtrack of the Ranjeni orao movie and Draga. It contains ten tracks composed by Zeljko Joksimovic , Dejan Ivanovic and Sasa Dragic and penned by top rocker Momcilo Bajagic Bajaga, Dejan Ivanovic and Marina Tucakovic.
The album, entirely produced at the Universal Music studios in the United States, is currently out of stock and will be back on the shelves soon. As it is his custom, the artist calls his albums Zeljko Joksimovic and allows his fans to actually put a name to them. This current album has been named Ljubavi from the first single out.

Zeljko Joksimovic represented Serbia in the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest with Lane moje, ending up second seventeen points behind winner Ruslana. In 2006, he took part once more as the composer of the Bosnian entry, Lejla performed by Hari Mata Hari which placed third in the fina. Two years later, he returned as the composer of Oro, the Serbian entry performed by Jelena Tomasevic. He was also the co host of the 2008 edition of the contest held in Serbia.

He allso composed song "Jutro" (Morning) for Jelena Tomasevic - that soposed to be Serbian representative in ESC in Ukrain edition of contest, but due to "ferr" voting in Serb-Motrnegrin preselection when montenegrin members of jury didn't vote for that song at all...
This song - Jutro (Morning) is IMO better than Oro...buth all 4 of song are mine serbovision anthems!!!

Wow, congratulations... 300.000 copies sold in 3 weeks is really a lot in these days of downloading. I also loved his 3 entries, favorite is Lane Moje.......He will ba back in the future, I believe.....

Except Zeljko hasn't won ESC 3 times yet. He really should win though, the 3 songs he has had were so beautiful and he deserves to win! If there's anyone I'd like to see back in ESC it is Zeljko!

We love you Zeljko...all Greeks know you and loves you as you love Greece and you show it so many times in the past.Your new album is just perfect and there is the original inspired Zeljkos music....AMAZING!!!
Lane moje, Lejla and Oro were all wonderful entries and my favourites in each of those years, all better than the winners that they came behind IMO. I will want to hear some more from the album before I buy it though, I don't buy on impulse
