Romania: Xonia bids for Eurovision 2010
Xonia was born in Melbourne, Australia. After her participation in the Romanian international music contest Golden stag she now bids for the Eurovision Song Contest for Romania.
Xonia starter her music carrer when she was 14 years old. She collaborated with many big names such as Rob Davis (Kylie Minogue ‘Can’t Get You Outta My Head’), Brian Rawling (Cher, Danni Minogue ), Doug Brady (John Farman, Olivia Newton John),Kevin Colbert (Paulina Rubio ‘Casanova’) and Brian Canham (Psuedo Echo ‘Funky Town’).
She also participated is several Tv series Noah’s Ark (Cable TV), Sea Chance (TV Series A.B.C), High Flyers (Channel 10), Holly’s Heroes(Cable TV) serialul Neighbours (Grundy Television) Lost and Found, Charlotte’s Web(Paramount Pictures) and What to Say (TheIndianMaiden).
She attended the Holywood's pop academy in Los angeles which also been attended by famous artists like Janet Jackson, Ne-Yo, Rihanna, Adam Levine (Maroon 5), Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, Corbin Bleu, Lindsay Lohan, Boyz II Men, Brian McKnight.
Now, she is preparing her debut album with remarkable Romanian composers, Mihai Ogasanu, Marius Moga, Deepcentral and she is preparing for the Romanian race for Eurovision with the song Take the lead composed by Mihai Ogasanu.

She sounds nice!
I've listened to it couple of more times... i started to like it. Fits well with the UK soundscape.
Personally i liked the song and voice,Her english is very good /she is from AUSTRALIA /AUSSIE/,Good luck -XONIA- 2010.
Obviously just made to be a GaGa copy, and the costumes doesn't fit her and seems forced and silly.
Dunno about the song. If this came prior GaGa, it would have been fresh and cool for Eurovision maybe, now it just feels like a desperate attempt.

I like the song, but the video is cheap and a bad bad try at Lady GaGa, failing as bad as Jemeni in ESC !!!
at first it sounds awful... but by the end of the song it grows on you. anyways romania has an excuse to send americanised stuff cause quiet alot of there pop music is quite americanised... unlike azerbaijan or ukraine who probs send music thats nothing like the other stuff that comes out the country

The song isn't bad ... its not great either. Its definitely an improvement over last years entry, even if the video is hurrendous

Beware the cut and paste... the third paragraph was lifted directly from her (supposedly) official website, and contains quite a few errors... Anyway, good luck to Romania, its been a while since Romania has sent a song I personally liked, but the good thing about Eurovision is there's always next time...

Layla, I so agree. This is just Americanised pop at its worst and I really hope that it isn't selected for Eurovision.
Not to mention it is another shitty popsong in English and this is what makes ESC more boring to watch. We already hear plenty of these crappy pop songs on radio every day - why even more?
