National Final Awards 2010
In 2010, the esctoday.com National Final Awards will be held between the ending of the national finals season and the Eurovision Song Contest weeks. The first round of nominations will already take place during the national finals season.

Now that the National Final Awards have been held, it is time for the esctoday.com awards, where the songs and performances that competed in Moscow will be honoured. The nominations will begin tomorrow and the voting will kick off next Sunday, 29th November. The announcement of the winners will start on Christmas Eve, 24th December, like it was done over the last four years.

@Layla: I'm just curios. Do you had a love story with a Sweden and he left you? Is that the reason for all your hate against Sweden? You are just pathetic. Sweden is the third biggest music export country and you still bashing Sweden? You think Norway's music is more modern??? Then why Norweigan's don't write the big hits for the big stars??? Where are the Norweigan music on the world scene? Lool, you are just pathetic!

Well I most have a say... I think the MF is the best NF, but saying MF really show the swedish music is insane, Sweden have so much more to offer.
And sweden is not oldfashion, All the great hits u hear today is produced by swedes, for example, just dance, Alejandro, Bad romance, all the gaGa song, All the brittney songs, Sugababes songs, Pink songs like sober and her newest song. So dont say sweden is old fasion .....
I love Sweden ansd Melodifestivalen, but this is a little bit over the top.... I mean best voting system this year is Norway as the Norwegians chose the winning song....

Why do u hate the Swedish voting system so much? Maybe the Swedish entries placed very low in Eurovision, but the Swedish people like it, and of course they vote for it, that's the most important thing!
how can you say that Swden had the best voting sytesm if the song they sent placed very low . and best national final ? cmon
In my opinion, the Scandinavian countries are the kings of Eurovision. Perhaps in 2008 and 2009 I preferred Norway NF than the Swedish one, but it is obvious that both countries do a great job every year.
I think MF improved greatly this year, the songs had a greater range of styles 
and it did bring me to Emilia !! 
So it must be darn good I wouldn't say it was the best, personally my favourite is Albania It's just adorable and I adore a lot of the songs normally there It's like watching old ESC but live now
I don't agree with many of the awards given, but they are overall okay I suppose I'm really looking forward to the next season now I hope we will have more better quality entries in all the NFs now we have seen that the reasons can be fair I can't wait I hope Andorra stays in, so we can see their pub again
I really think that fans have to move away from this rediculous bias towards Sweden, no way do they deserve some of those awards. Best voting system? Best song? REALLY is Stay the night REALLY the best song from this year's national finals? I think not!
I agree they deserved some things, Sarah Dawn Finer really deserved something she was sooo under rated, and Melodifestivalen probably IS the best national final, simply because it is so big and there is so much effort put in every year and there are a lot of good songs each year (even though they are all really kitsch and a little outdated, at least for British ears anyway)
I just think that the fans seem to think that sweden can do no wrong, which is not necessarily true, I loved their entry this year but I think the camp thing is really starting to look a bit worn, MF really needs a change of sound! and for Sweden to get the most awards in the national final when for the last few years it hasn't given good results at all just goes to show how biased the fans are towards it. Yeah we love it but COME ON vote for what is really good, vote with your ears not your hearts!
How many of us had actually heard all the songs in all the national finals? Not many, if any. So we voted for the songs we had heard. Melodifestivalen is the most hyped national final so naturally most people had heard some of the Swedish songs. And that's what they voted for. If everyone had heard every song in every national final, the result would be quite different.
Norway and Sweden are examples of countries that try hard to win eurovision
(probably cause the Nordic block exculding Iceland are the richest countries in Europe atm. the only ones able to boycot the economic dounturn)
But Pity Sweden are choosing all the right songs for a MF final, but then choosing the worst one of them.. Mans, Alkazar or Sarah Dawn finer all could have made the top 10 with their songs...

I agree on best act eliminated (I can't wait to see Surferosa back this year) and best national final The MF songs aren't always super, but I love the concept.
I'm so Glad for SWEDEN and MACEDONIA!!!!
