"Bad connection" is the only song of the 10 released till now that I don't find boring. Let's hope for something better in the next heats...
I like this " My time " even more than Webbers " My time " - I don't know the singer though and if she's a good performer. Still hope the next bunch of songs will be even stronger - it is kinda sad to have one good song only after knowing ten entries!
"My time" was good but I think I prefer "Never be the same" and "Don't play in love", even though I didn't get much of the lyrics
First three are okay, but not spectacular. The last two are horrible.
this link isn't working.
any other way to listen to the songs ?
After listening to each song in full and marking the songs on singers, beat, how it 'stood' out from the other songs and my own personal opinion on how it could do in eurovision here is what I thought
Bad Connection - I like the fact they are singing in their own language, The song stood out for me over all the other songs and believe it or not, from all the song's I've heard from the countries that have made certian songs public this one would be the best and most unique. I could see juries scoring it high also the public might too if the vocals are awesome of course
My Time - No beat at all, boring, too slow and the guitars destroy the only part of the song I enjoyed the Chorus..
Lift your Heart - Not too keen on the title, It realy means nothing "." Nice singer, I allready can tell Bruce probably is not from Belarus (lol) Best ballad Ive heard from Belarus so far but compared to 'Is it True' from Johanna or compared with 'My time' from Jade it starts sounding pretty lame
Never be the same - After hearing that my ears will never function the same again..0.0001% out of 100.. Its awful
Dont play in Love - Boring again..
My top so far from the Songs here;
1) Bad Connection
2) Lift your Heart
3) My time
4) Dont Play in Love
5) Never be the same
I listened to My Time as it seems to be everybody's favourite, and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised
It's far from being great, but compared to the standard of the first 5 songs, its bloody fantastic. In fact its actually good enough standard (with a bit of re-working and help on the accent) to go to Eurovision, and with the right presentation could qualify.
"Lift your Heart" is a nice entry
but i am not too keen on the others. Good Luck Belarus for 2010
Bad connection Not bad enough, because I could still hear this
My Time The bit I heard was OKish, but that's about all. I couldn't get it to play again to hear more of it
Lift your heart Pleasant but not terribly exciting, it would get lost at Eurovision
Never be the same Completely forgettable, at least I hope it is, because I don't want to remember it!
Don't play in love 'Don't play this' might be a better title
if Belarus chose this song i mean ''My Time'' i believe will be a good sorted
Out of 10 songs "My Time" is the best
2nd best: "Lift Your Heart"
Out of all 10 songs my favourite is Milaya
@Marko
This method is definetely better than a NF!
'My Time' is the only good one out of these 5...
I have just read on our best portal that probably there won't be Beovizija next year, RTS will chose singer and then he/she will perform 3 songs and ppl will vote for one of those songs to represent Serbia in Oslo!!! It is not sure, they will anounce soon!!!
these are so much better than the first 5. sad that they put the better ones all together. oh, well.
Bad Connection - Ok-ish. Not that great.
My Time - Quite Nice. Best out of the lot so far but quite nice to listen to.
Lift Your Heart - Bruce? I tak it's a lady with a guys name. Booooring!!
Never be the Same - Wow this is pretty bad. A bad version of last years entry.
Don't play in love - Nothing special
My Time is the best out of the lot but seems to be a bad year for Belarus so far.
Marko
ROFL !! I'm just so predictable now
and bless you
If the song sort of grew ( but not too much ) it would be great
Better than the first bunch of songs but still no tune I really like. And Oleg's accent .... Makes Polina sound like a member of the royal family ...
Artemiy: Not the worst, but not good. And it's very short?
Valeriy: This is the BEST of the Belarussian songs so far. It's just an OK song, but still, it's the best so far.
Bruce: Bruce? Isn't that a man's name, but it's a woman singing? The song is nice and the English is good, but nothing happens in it - there's no refrain or recognizable melody. It's sort of sleepy, forgettable and it makes me think it's not going to be successful in ESC, but who knows?
Oleg: The English accent is the worst ever! I actually thought he was singing in Dutch at first...
Evgeniy: Another OK song with bad English.
All the songs are just so average/boring/just OK - they're not ugly. Most of them are ruined by bad English accents.
@ Marky
While I was listening to Lift your heart, I remembered you!!!! I knew it!!!!!!
Bad Connection: It's very strange and weird, but I some what like it.
My Time: It's pleasent, and nice, a bit bland and unorginal, it's not awful at least. The accent get's a bit annoying, but I can live with it.
Lift Your Heart: Bruce Smith, what an unbelarussian name
It starts off very promising. It's all very beautiful and gentle and elegant. If it's presented very simpley on stage it'll be good, I hope they don't put type-rope walkers on and elephants to ruin the song. The best yet from Belarus, and of 2010
Even if it's just a bit too gentle and forgetful.
Never Be The Same: And we're back to Belarus
Annoying song and singer, I hate these sort of rock songs.
Don't Play In Love: Annoying voice, and seems I dunno, some sort of stage performancey type. I don't like it.
