Open letter to save Gena

Patricia Kaas' plea for a Russian bear

Last Thursday, December 3, Patricia Kaas officially made a plea to save Gena, an orphan baby bear, whose mother was a victim of winter hunting in Russia.

The singer becomes the animal's godmother, thanks to website www.actuanimaux.com, which publishes Patricia's letter. All you have to do is to get on the site and click on "I support Gena" (Je soutiens Gena). With every click, advertisers give a few euro cents for animals.

Like many other baby bears, Gena was sent to a special rehabilitation centre, directed by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), in Russia.

Special thanks to Jacques Lafourcade.

layla if you read some of the french articles about it, you'll find out that it's IFAW who asked patricia kaas to be involved in this
so this move actually is to support the International Fund for Animal Welfare and their work...

Ridiculous and unnewsworthy.

"Gena was sent to a special rehabilitation centre, directed by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), in Russia."

No pleas to save Gena is necessary...

I suggest Patricia finds better things to do with her time.
