National final on 7th February
Cyprus: Finalists decided 12th December
On Saturday 12th December, a seven- member jury appointed by RIK will decide which ten out of the 70 entries received by the broadcaster will proceed to the Cypriot final.
The 2010 Cypriot final will take place on 7th February at the RIK 3 studios. The show will be broadcast live at 20.15 CET from RIK 1, RIK SAT. Like every year, live streaming will also be provided by CyBC.

I hope that a warm Mediterranean song from Κύπρος in ESC 2010th I think "Fair Fly" last year more good degree deserved. I hope this year has been a fair ESC year for Cyprus. Best of luck to Κύπρος

@tochie * loves shiri maimon , Annet Artani's voise is perfect but she make a lot of problems to CyBC in 2006 , her attitude was very bad to Cyprus delegation team and until last minit Cyprus delegation thinging to dont let her to appear on stage. So both part for sure dont want to co-operate again We have many good singers who maybe is not famous but they can give they r best on stage, And i dont thing that famous singers can give more that not famous, if one singer is proffecional have good voise, song ,personality and luck for sure is going to do whell We saw many not famous singers to do whell in ESC and famous singers do to bad

@tochie * loves shiri maimon , Evridiki make a statement that she will never go to ESC again beacuse as she say a lot of dirty games plays behind the scenes in that contest. Also Nicolas Metaxas is in Bergley ( USA ) for studys so i realy doubt if he send a song to CyBC . Personal i want George Theofanous as a composer ( evridikis composer in 1992 - 1994 and also Group ONE 2002 with the song "Gimme" ) and singer Ioanna ( Joanna ) from last year x faxtor .

'Firefly' was a good song I agree, and Chistina Metaxa is a cute girl 
, but there were better songs in the Cypriot NF this year than 'Firefly'! 
I agree with u about Evridiki, she or Pieros Kezou shoud represent Cyprus!
@ Kenan: I love "Firefly". I voted for Christina 2 times on the semi. She have fantastic performance and song is very magical. I want more songs like this. But Cyprus need a rock ballad. Maybe Everidiki should come back... again?
I hope so Nicolas Metaxas sent song to cypriot selecetions, couse his songs are fantastic! I believe in Cyprus! It's one of the most underrated countries on Eurovision history, like Poland.
I just hope the Cypriot's will not choose the wrong entry for ESC again like this years entry 'Firefly'!
I hope Pieros Kezou will be in this years Cypriot NF, too! He deserved it to win last year, but he failed! His song 'Bleed For You' is absolutely great, and I'm still listening to it!
Mario i thing Ioanna from last year x factor will be one of them
Maybe Tamta is one of them.
