Band PIN withdraws from Polish national selection

Polish band PIN, who were to enter the country's national procedure for Eurovision 2010 have withdrawn their participation. According to the members of the group, the need to re-schedule their recording sessions and the preparations for their third album are behind this decision. Now, four acts remain in the race to represent Poland in Oslo.

PIN band states on their website that they are forced to withdraw from the competition due to the need to re-arrange their recordings schedule, their third album and promotion concerts. Anyway, the band thanks the national broadcaster TVP for having counted on them for the Eurovision selection and wishes luck to the four participants who are still in the race. Those are:

  • Anna Cyzon - Love me
  • Aneta Figiel - Myśl o tobie
  • Dziewczyny - Cash box
  • Vir- Sunrise (wildcard, more wildcards to join)

PIN was to enter the selection with the song Pin lady, which you can listen to below:

pfff, they were rubbish. Legenda is the best, it's blatent that TVP don't want Poland to win.

Oww Bad times for Poland..
..Looks like Poland will stay in the SF again in 2010..

from those four songs.. none of them are as good as 2009, or 2008.. and if I might say they both did badly.. one stayed in the SF and the other came last only gaining points from countries with high Polish disapora

I agree with most people here. It was my favourite song from Poland, too.

Oh noooo! They were the best of the few songs! Aneta Figiel is the best now, but I think Poland HAS to send Legenda now! None of the other songs here are good enough - they will remain in the semi most likely. Send the cute guy with the nice song Legenda and it has at least better potential to make it! :)

The song was quite good but I'm always doubtful about groups in Eurovision, not that I don't want them, but they rarely do well.

Wow these guys are good, now with their departure i feel the best song in the polish selection from the other guys simply wont be enough to sustain Poland in the finals of the ESC! Good luck poland anyway!
