Kalomira plans a comeback to Greece
Kalomira will be back in Greece after taking a break from her career and returning to the USA to spend time with her family. Her fans will be happy to know that she will be returning to her homeland Greece.
The singer is planning to return to television, specifically to Alpha Television and will be recording a new single. We might even see her starring in a movie along with another Greek superstar, Sakis Rouvas! Kalomira has enjoyed fame, name and glory in Greece thanks to her television shows and musical career. She achieved an honourable 3rd placing at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest when she mesmerised Europe with her song Secret combination.

Actually, if you are talking about citizenship, being born to Greek parents in another country grants you the right to Greek citizenship. For example, Paparizou holds Greek citizenship, and according to Swedish nationality law, it is questionable if she also holds Swedish citizenship since dual citizenship was not allowed before 2001 unless you were born to Swedish citizens. (Being born there doesn't grant you Swedish citizenship) But that's a whole other story. 
And regardless, being born for example in Norway (lol) to Greek parents, doesn't some how make you Norwegian. Maybe in citizenship (depending on the laws in the country), but not in ethnicity. Its not like you somehow have Norwegian blood/heritage in you all of the sudden.

plssssssssss we at Greece have as Greeks all the kids born from Greek parents were - ever they live....at UK were u live have them as Greekenglish ....the kids of them will be English .
If u have a kid at ur school which has Greek parents how do u call him(or at all the countries....)???

i dont think the juries will be the same every year so if the ones last year were deaf and voted Hadise it doesnt mean it will happen again....!!!!
Looking at all the crap that's going on with Greece economically, I wouldn't be surprised if they will play it safe for next year and sent a big no-no like Katherine from Belgium. She is in the same league as Hadise.... both beautiful girls with great bodies and no voices.
U like it or not they are Greek...all of them born from Greek parents at another country(except from Katerine which is half Greek).

kalomoira is american, was born there and has lived all her life there, she just has greek heritage, it seems most of there participants are foriegn (2005-swedish, 2006-cypriot, 2007-british, 2008-american) and the favorite to represent greece is katherine from belguim this year.. so i guess the greek people don;t want to represent there own country..

It does not change the fact that the show was succeful, but like I said, the thing that actually matters are hosting abilities. Anyway, of course the article would say that. EVERY article on ESCToday about past ESC singers say the same type of thing.

"Poli tin kiriaki" was a success before Kalomoira enters when Xrousala was co-hosting it,with Kalomoira the show had to deal with to "deal" and the ratingss was not good....
I am talking about the "fame, name and glory in Greece thanks to her television shows and musical career" the article claims,there is not such a thing for Kalomira and Greece's superstars are so few and Kalomoira is not among them!!She is well known and talented!
And if she plays in Sakis' next movie it will be a small role because protagonists are already known:-)
